Crazy gamble mate, wish we had known at 25's eh Frankie

Like you Chris Kanace interested me, but as has happened before he was withdrawn, thats 4 times he's been declared now and he has run once, the connections you would feel will want to get some of that money back at a later date. A few fancies tonight, can't believe the price of Blackstone Vegas that just won, seems the Curley horse was a very false price. Windsor 6.10 Banks and Braes, back in trip and back on grass is my selection, he has yet to win a race but hopefully he will get off the mark here. 6.40 again I am going for Richard Hannons second string with Vitznau, he looked useful when winning his first start this year, and I feel he could burn these off, having won at further...Beacon Lodge is the obvious danger 7.10 A wide open race with practically anything in with a chance, but I will have a little each way on Charltons' Fochabers at a big price, he showed some ability on his second start as a two year old and he may improve for this longer trip. 8.10 Boragh Jamal is an interesting runner, he was in Ireland last year and showed some promise, especially on his second start, this is a longer trip as he has been tried over 6 and 5 furlongs, and may bring about improvement...trainer is in good form. At Towcester I will have a few quid on 6.00 Eros Moon and Dancing Legend. 6.30 Knar Mardy 8.00 Celestial Dragon 8.30 Bee Cee Pee M Good luck Guys Frankie

Again apologies for that tip....really pleased with a nice 16/1 winner of the big race though, and well done guys for prescription, I looked at that and avoided it as Prescott has had hardly any runners so far this year, he's a trainer I normally follow too, he seems to have the knack of getting horses very well handicapped. Not too many fancies today, so just a couple of small bets. Worcester 1.50 Rien A Perdre 2.50 Benefit Game 3.20 I'm the Decider 4.20 Nikola Plumpton 5.40 Playtime Ben Uttoxeter 2.00 Decent Lord 4.00 Amwell Brave Have a good day all. Frankie

Sorry fellas. Frankie

Just had a couple of quid yankee on Cecils runners at Lingfield and chucked in Sam Sharp at another meeting...can't believe its the last game of the season already. Good luck today fellas. Frankie

Saturday 8th May Selections Ascot 2.20 Duncan will be a warm order here and should win, but if he needs the run I hope Bergo, who has been running well for Gary Moore over hurdles can capatalise at a big price. 2.50 Alsace Lorraine can hopefully take this tricky little contest, she showed a good attitude last year and improved with every run, I really like James Fanshawe as a trainer and Jamie Spencer is an interesting booking, hopefully she will continue to improve...keep an eye on Swinburns, Flora Trevelayn as a possible danger. 3.25 Mabait I am sure will be all the rage after winning on his reappearance, but I fancy having a few quid on Dandy Boy, Marnane brings him over from Ireland where the trainer is in good form, the horse showed good form last year(albeit on the all weather) and his third on his reappearance was an encouraging run, if he goes on the ground he may run well. 4.35 Aaim to Prosper looked a really useful horse over a marathon trip for Mick Channon, he then moved yards and won on his first run, I think he will improve again and will be a horse to follow at these long trips. Lingfield. Henry Cecil sends a few here today and it may pay to follow his runners. 4.55 Atlaal ran well in maidens last year despite causing some trouble at the start of his races, he won his third start very nicely, and although he is not drawn ideally his handicap mark may mean he can take advantage here, plus a year older may mean he settles better and gives his true running. Haydock 2.30 See my earlier post about this race. 3.00 Sangfroid is a really consistent horse, he had a warm up when narrowly beaten on the flat last week and hopefully that will put him just right to run a big race and hopefully get his head in front. 3.35 a wide open race and small stakes encouraged, I will have my couple of quid on Issaquah and Acambo 5.20 Prince of Johanne should strip fitter for his first run, he rattled up a hat-trick last year on varying ground types, if he runs to that form he will give the others something to think about. Nottingham 1.55 Sands Crooner was backed by me last time, and I will not desert him now, he is running well at the moment, and has won off a higher mark than this just 11 months ago, he needs to get a win in him before the handicapper raises him too much. 2.55 Deacon Blues was well fancied on his reappearance but ran as if he needed it, he will strip fitter today and can hopefully be a real gone kid. 3.30 Swiss Diva was a model of consistency last year, she is still relatively unexposed having only run 11 times and could still improve, is she does she may take some beating. 4.40 Pretty dire race so I will have a punt :-) I like the look of the unexposed Short Supply, he showed some promise in maidens last year and is bred to do better over this longer trip, the handicapper has not been too harsh so fingers crossed for a good run. That'll do, fancy a few in the evening but time for bed... Good luck Frankie

Guys I have heard some massive reports on a horse tomorrow Haydock 2.30 Ahtoug I'm sure that you are aware but the trainer is part of Godolphins outfit and apparently this horse is tearing up the gallops, nothing can live with it...now if it can transfer that to the racecourse it should win easily.. Price won't be massive but just thought i'd pass it on. Frankie
-
Well a few non runners and a 9/1 winner meant I didn't waste too much money tonight. Frankie
-
Ooops forgot Aintree.. All very small stakes 6.05 Araldur 7.05 Meadows Thyne 7.40 bob's Dream 8.40 Still at Lunch Good luck all Frankie

Hoorrayyy winners at last, forgotten what it was like. Three in all...Azmeel 7/2 Good old Archers Road 15/2 and Captain Cool 7/1 Not going to go mad tonight don't want to lose my winnings :-) Hamilton 7.50 Hard to split Danderek and Zaplamation as I fancy both, but I am going to side with Danderek, two reasons, I like the jockey I think Tyliki is decent plus he has won at the distance, and I still think we havent seen the best of him. 8.50 I really like the look of Cheyenne Red, his record is good at this course (2 from 3) and his trainer is in decent form. Ripon 5.55 I was quite surprised to see Johnny Han****s price so big, he was a beaten favourite last time and ran well until fading late, Evans continues to be in good form and hopefully the visor can help him to concentrate. 7.30 Oneofapear, I like to keep an eye on Swinbanks runners especially first time in a handicap, this race is pretty open and it wouldnt take much for this horse to take the race and improve throughout the season. 8.30 Ursis often wins at a big price and I will have a few quid on him tonight just in case. Frankie

Not much time tonight so just my fancies for tomorrow...been a poor week so far, be nice to break my record and actually get a winner at Chester but tomorrow looks a tricky day again...oh well here goes nothing. Chester 1.45 Guilded Warrior 2.15 Azmeel 2.45 Once More Dubai 3.15 Archers Road 4.30 Abbondanza 5.05 Hindu Kush Lingfield 3.05 Duster and Yabtree 3.45 Love you Louis Nottingham 2.25 Captain Cool 4.10 Diamond Twister 5.15 Soto I will post my evening selections when I get in from work...if I have any money left that is :-) Frankie

This evenings horses to swerve: Goodwood 5.50 Plus Ultra Ffos Las 5.55 Indian Narjes 7.00 Lyra's Daemon 7.30 Effigy 8.35 Plumage Wincanton 6.05 Tank Buster 6.35 Tignello, The Grey One, Lean Burn dutched :-) 7.40 Ask Again 8.15 Loom Wetherby 6.15 Scale Bank 6.50 Mardood 7.20 Schinken Otto 8.25 Ballysimon All to small stakes and a bit of fun,, Good luck all Frankie

Bloody hell boys May is a disaster so far...one winner between us I think....must try harder...bit of PMA needed i reckon...lets have some tonight. Frankie

Yep i'll be there mate, you training down and having beers? Frankie

After a disastrous day of racing and Kips bet going tits up lets hope Thursday brings better fortune. 1.45 really quite sweet on the chances of Leceile, she showed a good level of form last year and will hopefully improve this year, Haggis knows the time of day and this could be the start of a decent day for him. 2.15 Lets hope for a quick Haggas double, South Easter has course and distance form, his only disappointing run last year was over 2 furlongs further and back at this trip on his reappearance he won nicely. 2.45 A pretty poor Chester Vase to be fair, and nothing really stands out, but as I look on my Betfair machine I can see Chink of Light at 17.5 he has some decent form and is well thought of, he has an entry in the Derby...the visor may bring about more improvement. 5.05 I really like Ben Chorley, he ran well on his first start for his current trainer when beaten by Irish Heartbeat and will hopefully improve for that run after a difficult campaign last year....my only concern is the drying ground. Goodwood 4.45 A tricky race over 2miles sees many in with chances, but I am going to select Commemoration Day, he has won over this course and distance (several years ago admittedly) but has been well thought of over hurdles, even running at Aintree. 5.20 I was really impressed with Flighty Francis last time, despite running green she won nicely, she is entitled to improve again and if she does could take all the beating. All in all a tricky day with jumps racing again proving difficult to pick winners. good luck all Frankie
-
Nothing much here either, Chester terrible, had one winner Benbeoch at 7/2. Cheltenham tonight has been an absolute minefield...ho hum guys we were due a bad day...make up for it tomorrow eh. Frankie
-
Had a look at tomrrows racing going to post all selections including tomorrow nights cracking Hunter Chase card from Cheltenham. As you all know Chester throws up some strange results, it is a tight little track with draw and course and distance form a massive positive.....so not too many selections from there from me despite some good racing. Chester 2.45 This is a cracking race and very wide open, but I have a real fancy for Bernie the Bolt, he progressed well last year especially when raised to this trip, beating the useful Alanbrooke by 4 1/2 lengths, the draw isnt ideal but i'm hoping he can get into a useful position without using too much energy and run the finish out of his opponents. 3.15 I love Look Busy, she always ran well last year and is Alan Berries one stable star (shame as his dad was brilliant), she loves this ground, is well drawn and has course and distance form. Southwell 2.25 Academy Blues looks to be a real improver, he has flown since joining Nicholls yard from Ireland, and is my selection here, although just to small stakes in a competitive field. 3.30 David Pipe does well with his flat runners, and he has strong claims in this race, Sarah's boy ran a good race last time, he is upped in trip here and will have a great chance if his stamina holds out. 4.10 This s a cracking race with a case that can be made for almost all of the runners, but I will be having a few quid on a very unexposed runner, Silver Point has some decent flat form in France and if transferring it to here, he could have a good chance at a big price. Kelso 4.55 Benbeoch owes me after falling at the last when I had him at 130/1 on betfair, he looked the winner all the way there, he then pulled up twice before showing a return to form in a recent point...come on Benbeoch get me some money Cheltenham Just selections i'm afraid...i'm off to bed, be dissapointed not to get a few winners here though. 5.35 Farmer Frank 6.10 Theatre Diva 6.45 Lotta Presents 7.20 Mad Victor 7.55 King's Wood 8.25 Dr Cerullo May do a few at Huntingdon tomorrow night, will post them later if so... Good luck Frankie

Thank God this came in, I very tricky evening elsewhere, I managed to get 14/1 on Warcraft on Betfair and it won very easily at 6/1 so I nice evenings work Frankie
-
Evening selections... Nothing really stands out at Exeter, but I will have a few quid on Pipe Banner in the 6.50, purely as he is such a big price for a horse from the Henderson stable, and he has fair form and may improve over this longer trip. Plus a few quid on Walter De Wodeland in the 7.50 (Hunter Chase), he was almost certainly going to win when being brought down in his last race and will hopefully make amends here. Catterick 6.30 A tough little race, but Pitt has his stable running well and Tropical Batchelor has some decent placed form on firm ground, he wouldnt have to improve too much on his last run to take this. 7.00 Smalljohn has been in great form on the all weather and is on just a pound higher mark for his return to turf. 730 Sendali has done little wrong on his last two starts and Jamie Spencer is taking the mount here, if he handles the firm ground expect a good run. 8.30 Baybshambles, trainer form in and out but ran some good races last year and a return to form would see him in with a chance. I am also going to have a bet on Warcraft in the 7.40 at Ballinrobe, his trainer won this last year so likes to win it, he was well backed last time out but that came to nothing, but I am sure if you get him right he will win a race soon. Frankie

Hmm not a brilliant day but some nicely priced place horses and a winner Newcastle 3.10 Green Agenda...nowhere, really looks to have regressed, leave alone at the moment. 4.10 On the Cusp (3rd 13/2) Ran a nice race, was running on at the end, still more improvement to come? 4.40 Rio Caribe (3rd 11/1) Ran a really nice race without getting to the leader, well clear of 4th Fakenham was a disaster with Tzar Lady unseating when challenging and Saintly Lady running an awful race, you knew the fate of that one from some way from home. Bath 4.00 Kanace (3rd 9/2 fav) Was well backed again and ran nicely no chance with winner who annoyingly had a similar profile to my selection and won very nicely 5.00 Callisto Moon (9/4 Winner!!!) see Chris we can do it , won easily. Just looking at evening racing then post a couple of selections. Frankie
-
Another one I like at a big price is Newcastle 4.40 Rio Caribe, he doesnt look to have the best of form, but he was beaten fav last time out so must have some ability, but more interestingly are the trainer stats, Tim Walford enjoys a 100% strike-rate (2-2) with his 3yo handicappers at the track in the last five years and also 2 of his 3 winners (3yo's in hcps) were returning from a lay off from the autumn in their 2yo campaigns this included a 25/1 winner. At 25/1 on Betfair I will be having a little dabble. Frankie
-
Onto Tuesday then and not so much racing, thank god... Newcastle 3.10 Green Agenda hasnt shown the best of form recently, but this time last year he won 4 and came second once, so this seems to be his time of year, that and the inclusion of blinkers will hopefully see a return to form. 4.10 Mick Channons horse will be a short fav here, which will mean a decent price about others, I fancy 'On The Cusp' to show some improved form, he finished well down the field on his seasonal debut, but the positives of firmer ground, he should strip fitter, a good trainer and the eye catching booking of Dettori mean he is a bet for me. Bath 4.00 Watch this as it may be withdrawn as it has been the last twice I have fancied it...I like Kanace, it has been well backed the last twice before being withdrawn as I said. last year it ran over 5f so this rise to 1 mile is interesting, on it's handicap debut it will be very interesting to watch. 5.00 Callisto Moon was quietly fancied on his debut this season but failed to dominate as he likes to, over this longer trip and with the firmer ground he should be there or thereabouts, he also has course and distance form. Fakenham 2.50 I will be having a small punt on Tim Vaughans Great Tsar, Vaughan does really well with his summer jumpers and this horse was running well on a handicap rating of 100 a couple of years ago, he now runs on a rating of 82, if the visor can help he may go well at a big price. 3.20 I really fancy Saintly Lady, not just because of the name, but she has some decent form in bumpers and this step up in trip should help too, coupled with a low weight and question marks about the others..its come on you Saint. Evening selections posted when I get home from work Good luck All Frankie

Grreat tip and a super write up mate, King's Song is a bit of a dog by the look of it...not the best day for me, a fair few places as always, a couple of winners, 5/2 and 8/1...Couple I really fancy tomorrow though (if not withdrawn) Frankie
-
Hehe you cheeky bugger Frankie
-
As always Bank Holiday has a wealth of racing, and a bit of a minefield for punters if punting in every race...luckily i'm going out with the missus and the dog so will be not be about to fall into the trap of punting every race....I have a fair few fancies though and if nothing comes in I could lose a fair few quid...just very brief notes due to amount of racing and lack of time. Kempton 4.00 Which Doctor, I tipped this on its seasonal debut when it was given a tender ride, hopefully it will be more wound up for today and if they go at a breakneck speed he will be staying on well at the end. 5.30 Lucky Leigh is a tentative selection in a trppy race, who knows how he will run as he is largely inconsistent but showed a return to form last time out. Windsor 2.55 A couple I fancy here at decent prices, Franko is my name has been a revelation on the AW this winter, he could run well again depending on how he copes with the switch to turf, I also fancy At wit's End, who improved every run last year and it is doubtful we have seen the best of him. 3.55 I fancy a small flutter on Cheers Big Ears, he has moved stables after being with John Best last year, he showed some ok form, he is too big a price to ignore. 4.55 I really fancy Autocracy but his odds are tumbling, he is an unexposed type in a modest field, Williams horse would be a contender but the stable form is a worry. Beverley 2.20 Blind Stag should come on for his first run, he was well supported on his debut and has a speedy pedigree. 2.50 Kakaputa (Nap) Did amazingly well to win it's last race when overcame trouble in running, he doesnt have the best of draws but will hopefully be ahead of the handicapper. 3.20 Mannlichen I thought he'd be favourite after several good runs last year, he ran best on the all weather but is definitely worth a punt at this price. Missus is giving me grief so just selections now. Warwick 2.40 Whipma Whopma Gate 4.40 Onyx of Arabia Chepstow 2.35 Yemeni Princess 4.05 Picot De Say 5.05 First Term 5.35 Magic Omen Good luck guys Frankie
