I read this as MLT has already been asked to be Chairman - otherwise I would have expected him to answer along the lines of....I would be happy to consider any role with club....etc. So Chairman is a done deal....who will be MD? Team Manager? etc

Now theres an opportunity Mr Lowe missed. For someone seeking revolutionary approaches to management - The No manager option would have saved tons of cash. Players pick the team and formation - would have been awesome.

Maybe you might consider that Matt would feel very uncomfortable/embarrassed having to walk past a statue of himself on his way into the office every day. (Assuming he has such a role at SFC that would require this). As has been said...the time will come, but not for some years yet.

All my interactions - personal and business - with Barclays only lead me to conclude they don't give a toss about small business or the average individual. Protest all you like - they'll probably get a kick out of it. Personally, I wouldn't give them the satisfaction.

If it comes down to that game with one of us getting relegated - then I think its odds on for a Sky game along with one or two of the promotion games - Wolves will probably have wrapped up the championship by then. So maybe Reading/Brum or Palace/Sheff Utd.
