Bet he doesn't do the post-match interview.

Tumbleweed maybe...but it did raise a smile as I remembered the old 'Pineapple on his head' chant.
-
Never looked like getting anything out of that - if NA can get some positives out of that, I'll be amazed. Hope Jos isn't out for long.
-
Not exactly - they owe.... £800k from Nov - was due Dec 19 £800k from Dec - was due Jan 19 January's will be due on Feb 19. ALSO - if their VAT quarter ended 31 Dec - the VAT will be due on Jan 31 to add to their woes. As for whether HMRC are by far the biggest unsecured creditor - you would think so, but this is Pompey we're talking about.
-
Well Blackpool do...and Millwall did - just neither of them will meet Cortese's asking price. Personally - I think I'd take any offer over £250k from a non-rival for promotion and get rid of JP.....BUT like most, I do not know what he did so right now I choose to trust that NC has his reasons for keeping him around, and as long as NA doesn't have a problem with it - thats good enough for me.

Make the point that Lampitt and AA are walking around basically telling everyone they are trading whilst insolvent - so when are the FL going to pull their heads out of their Rses and do something?
-
This is a difficult one for HMRC - if they force administration - they not only risk the £1.6m owed now, but also the £6m due on the never, never under the CVA. Chances are they will never see either getting paid, but might cause them to think twice before pulling the trigger. As for the Football League - WAKE UP!!!
-
Not only are they continuing to trade - they continue to sign players and add more liabilities - ETUHU won't be playing for nothing. Mattock and Thorne apparently free to return whenever WBA agree. WTF is the FL playing at - good financial governance??? The bloody administrator has come out and said they have no money past the end of the month - on what basis does the FL think it makes good financial sense to add any more players to their payroll? Oh hang on - they'll be football creditors so that's OK then. Let's increase the amount of football creditors so there is less to go all the small businesses and charities when it all goes tits up again. Maybe some of those smaller creditors should group together and take the FL to court for allowing pompey to add to their playing staff AGAIN when they cannot afford the staff they have already. Bloody Disgrace. Rant Over.

Isn't the PAYE/NI for December due to be paid today? Wonder if it has been. Surely HMRC would be quick to act if it was not paid.
-
My dear fellow - an Englishman does not have a 'complex' about his superiority - he is modestly aware of it, and has the good grace not to brag about it in the presence of lesser mortals. He furthermore will not use it's advantage to the obvious detriment of those less fortunate - excepting that they hail from a PO postcode, in which case they may be treated with disdain and ridicule without fear of retribution from any quarter.
-
Apparently that wouldn't even cover the wages for 8 of their players until the end of the season - gonna have to do better than that.
-
Maybe The News have been tipped off that JoCa is not the prospective new owner....or they are trying to get themselves banned from Krap Nottarf when he does takeover.
-
Haven't heard this before - Andronikou claiming the credit for putting SFC and Markus together??? http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/time-running-out-for-portsmouth-to-find-the-right-owner-6290136.html Can it be true? Do we owe our good fortune to AA?
-
Apparently it would be a 10 pt deduction - I refer you to post 46548 on this very thread.

Welcome to Friday the 13th - what horrors await our fishy friends today?
-
Some strange people involved in this underwater casino malarky........ http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/4559531.stm Mr Ho????? Nah...it couldn't be.
-
AA and a couple of Cala's henchmen have probably got the FL Board locked up at gunpoint until they sign the statement confirming no points deduction.
-
That is brilliant. I think this Cala bloke must be some sort of genius visionary. Perfect for our fishy friends. On the other hand.......maybe the few should be planning a protest up at FA HQ to ensure this guy does NOT pass the FAPPT.
-
I think the club should find a supporter who is 100 years old this year - and have him/her place a wreath on behalf of SFC at whichever memorial is most appropriate. That will do nicely. No need to interrupt matchday proceedings for this one.

Whilst there were 'reports' of advanced parachute monies in 09/10 - I can't find any evidence that this happened - what I did find was a PL denial that any parachute monies had been advanced to PFC whilst still in the PL. I think the 'advance' might have been an early payment of TV monies due for that season anyway. So....£48m parachute payments due - £22.4m in Football Creditors as per CVA report. 2010/11 - £16m - all to Football Creditors 11/12 - £16m - £6.4m to football creditors - £9.6m to PFC 12/13 - £8m to PFC 13/14 - £8m to PFC So given that I believe parachute payments are made in two instalments each year - it would be reasonable to assume PFC have £8m remaining due this year. Plus £8m for each of the next two years. So £24m remaining. The CVA needs £16.5m - which leaves £7.5m for the following to fight over. Chinny - £17m+ Gadymack - £2.5m? Lithuanian Savers - £10.6m - (Note: If funds are proven to have been stolen, CSI being placed in administration will not necessarily protect these funds from being reclaimed - unlikely though) Plus - Instalments due on new transfer deals ??? Now - the above assumes Pompey are running at break-even financially - but we all know that is not the case, so some of these parachute monies will be needed to fund day-to-day expenses - how much we do not know. What all this tells me is that it is Chinny who holds the cards to Poopeys future. It would appear that he will maximise the repayment of his debt by keeping PFC alive until the all the parachute monies are in at some point in the 2013/14 season. At which point - he could run off with his cash (+ interest) and leave the final couple of CVA payments with no funding, at which time PFC will be on the precipice once more. However - it ALL depends on how much money they are losing each month to determine how much will be left for Chinny to make off with.

Good spot. It would be highly unusual for a game covered by FSP not to be live on FSTV so I will look forward to watching Cotterill's team playing really, really well, deserving three points - but getting none. -
Will await the video of RL sending off with interest - but going to 10 men is no excuse for losing 3-0 to a depleted Brighton side. This loss of form needs to be addressed now because it will start to affect confidence, if it hasn't already.

Post 21 is not bad either If southampton continue to play how they did today they will not only win the championship but will go on to do ok in the premiership.

Most Prem games are available for streaming BUT if the game is being shown live on FSC then it cannot be streamed live - it is made available on delay from 11.59pm on the day of the game. I don't think the same restriction applies to games on FSP.
