  1. I feel sorry for her family and friends, but I disliked her with a vengance. She had a good life towards the end, didn't she die in the Ritz? How many people in the mining communities are afforded that luxury. As for a minutes silence a definate noooooooooooooooo!
  2. Perhaps a minutes applause in appreciation..... hopefully that will be a minutes silence (if you get my drift).
  3. He looks like a waxwork model of himself that has gotten too close to the fire!
  4. Just saw that too. Think they have hit the nail on the head with there summing up of us now, nice to hear isn't it
  5. If he stays he stays, if he goes he goes, for all his potential I will not lose any sleep over his decision. As a midfielder I am more worried about Spider or Cork leaving.
  6. Unfortunately there will be more of a media clamour for Beckham to be recalled than Lambert being picked. The TV pundits were wetting themselves again the other night about Beckham and how wonderful his passing was etc. Well as far as I am concerned Rickie at times has just the same passing ability as that over rated tatooed hasbeen. Really Beckham with all those England caps, many towards the end for cameo performances not justifying a cap, but hey ho no justice in this world, if your name fits....
  7. Yep, a bit like Van Persie can miss a sitter in front of goal and baloon over the bar against Chelsea in the cup on Monday. Any foward can miss a so called easy chance.
  8. Look at 1.27 of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QacvElbvyWM Looks like Jos didn't slip, he was pushed by Terry!
  9. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2013/03/30/video-southampton-2-1-chelsea-premier-league-highlights/ Goals are on here unless they have been taken down
  10. What's Cortesse done, should have given him a bigger garden to work on! Will not make any difference to our game against them, Adkins may know our players, but the same could be said about most managers when it comes to playing the likes of Manure. If our players are better than theirs (which they are) then it makes no odds (I hope).
  11. Can't be arsed to worry about it all, but why was he not picked as a striker for England when he was knocking in 30 plus goals, weren't we always told by so called better informed people there were better midfielders around at the time such as Gasgoine etc. So using that arguement he was during certain seasons the highest goal scoring Foward not to be picked for England? He was not a foward, he was a midfielder. Perhaps Lampard should be classed as a foward then, what differentiates the two?
  12. Matty was just as much a midfielder as that list gives, or did we always play 3 up front?

    Guly

FFS in some peoples opinion he f'd up against P'mouth, get over yourselfs, that is so long in the past it is not worth going on about. We have a great win against Liverpool and still people can pick on ONE mistake by Guly and hound him. During the game more mistakes were made, even SRL a one on one with the goalie fore example, good job it wasn't Guly as he would be hung drawn and quatered, yet as it was Rickie that's okay.
  14. Perhaps i missed it, but they did a table on MOTD2 and top midfield players goal scoring in premier league. No Matty!!
  15. Even if he wasn't shown a card for that then why wasn't he shown a yellow for hanball a few seconds on from that tackle. Surely the ref couldn't have missed both ??
  16. Think ITV are showing it live
  17. I bet there is some small print that says no. Also I suppose Chelsea will now get TV money for this game, as I assume it will be televised. Do Saints get compensated for allowing a Sky game only for it to be taken away!
  18. Shame for those who didn't buy a ticket because they thought they could watch it on Sky instead. Although it doesn't affect me, how do season ticket holders get on if they have changed their plans because of the game was going to be on telly, now can't go because the game has been changed again, can they claim the cost of the game?
  19. Utter crap by the FA. Its the poor refereeing that needs looking at, and things must be taken in context. To have a p poor decision against us in injury time, by a tub of lard supposedly being thrown to the ground by someone half his size, regardless of the fact that he was going away from goal, and out of the penalty area. How would most people react to such anb injustice?
  20. Any team from Fulham downwards are still in it ie. those teams have 33 points, any one can still be dragged into it. But as games go on, then there is obviously less games left to catch up, but at current standings games played, even on 33 points you still are looking below yourselves in the table rather than above.
  21. Death of music, look no further than the One direction Bieber (X) factor.
  22. Why don't we try having our full backs run at theirs, how many times today did Clyne get forward, then rather than take them on pass back, what is the point? All our so called passing game is Sh""e, passing backwards or sidewards hurts no one! Its like having a team full of Jim Magiltons!
  23. Gutted about today, the team looked disjointed, too much passing the ball and going nowhere, but looking at the table newcastle and sunderland still in our sites, norwhich and w ham not much better off. think relegation still involves 7 - 8 teams.
  24. Really, the harshest dismisall? Can think of others. Nice to see the Daily Mail on our case again.
  25. Perhaps they should have a 'dodgy' sattelite set up and show Saints games live, especially the home games for those that can not get to the ground on match days
