Tragic event, but can someone have a look at the footage of the crash and tell me I am wrong, but looking at the cars on the motorway above, that can only be going at 70mph or so, are going at roughly the same speed. And that the carriage behind the train seems to go up in the air slightly before it even reaches the bend? Could there have been another problem rather thsan driver speed error?

Adam Lallana - has he flattered to deceive?
Hedgehog replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I have said in the past that he and a few other players adored by the majority can have a complete mare of a game, and anyone making a comment to this fact are shot down in flames. Yet a Guly or Josse or whoever make one mistake and are classed as not good enough. I like Adam and think he is a good player, not exceptional, but at times tries too many tricks then F's it up. Hopefully he will be a lot better next season. -
Was talking to a friend in the pub two days back and he said his brother was at Staplewood and said he saw Di Matteo there. Dismissed this as mistaken identity or no need to enquire more. Couldn't think why Di Matteo would be there at Staplewood. I know this is a case of I know someone who knows someone and he said etc. but ......you never know, a replacement already lined up.

No the OP had been listening to Talksport for 10 mins and was just making a comment. Didn't realise there was already a thread going? Can no one make any comment on this board without having to do half hour of research to make sure they are not upsetting someone by mistakingly having the audacity to start a thread, or even comment on one. On the subject how will Mata be feeling, will he now be press/radio speculation. Best not start a thread about this

Here we go, no doubt endless hours of talk about where Rooney is going. Have only just turned on Talksport and totaly bored of it already!
-
So what was the list?
-
Yes, no probs, but that doesn't mean to say he will be here after the January transfer window. 25K tommorow, add another 15K that he would be offered come then?

For this kind of money I am still suprised that there have been very few clubs showing an interest. Could it be the Liehbers were right in questioning NCs intentions with their money. Gaston has not exactly justified his price tag, and what with him and this signing £24 plus million is a lot to outlay on midfield. We all are still laughing at Pompey, hope it isn't us in a couple of years. Just hope we are still after a good striker, a position I feel we should be splashing the cash.

Not that I give a ****, but it is nice to see that someone has stuck with 'their own'. Too often once someone becomes a celebrity or famous, they tend to pair off with other celebreties. Not that I know what she does for a living, is she famous?

What annoys me with these players is that they feel their wages aren't as high as they should be, and will try and hold out for a better offer. They don't live in the real world where people have to accept what they are offered and have to endure years of pay freezes or pay cuts just to be able to live. Then we are expected to year in year out pay more for our season ticket or individual game tickets to see these overpaid players. I know that is how football is nowadays but its just bugs me when you are seeing the likes of the Rooneys etc. being paid more in a month, than many will earn in a lifetime who pay to watch them. This then bumps up the expectations of those lower down the pecking order at a club, and in the end mediocre players are on stupid money.
-
As I say with all potential signings, if he signs he signs, if he doesn't who gives a ****. To be honest never heard of the guy, and is £10 mil a good buy, or are we being taken for a ride? Time will tell.
-
If we are not going to go back to a shirt with stripes, why not go the whole hog a bit like Cardiff, and change the colour completely, why not go with green or yellow as our home kit? Personally I would love to see us back in red and white stipes.

what size is it, can it be wiped and re used? Might come in handy if it's a reasonable size.
-
Whilst I tend to agree with you, but we don't know what his injury was and how long such an injury takes to heal. Broken leg 6 months plus? But then again if he had such an injury that he couldn't recover from until next season why did we buy him? Was he such a bargain, and although we looked the gift horse in the mouth, we thought his problem was just a filling required, and not an extraction from the club!
-
Surely this thread can now be shut, the problem has been resolved, and no ammount of their fault etc. is going to make any difference to the outcome, and the outcome is SORTED!!
-
I was charged £1 online, not too much compared to getting down in person, but after spending such a large sum on S ticket perhaps they should not have charged this £1, but anyways...
-
Not a complaint but £1 ticket tax if buying online, because I just have. Cheaper than getting to the stadium though.

Keep on hearing how good that goal was, have seen it a few times, and am I alone in thinking it wasn't as great as it's made out to be? He ran in a straight line, hardly dribbling round any players, and not one tackle went in. I was under the impression he had taken on the whole of the Brazilian team twisting and turning avoiding tackles etc.

Thanks for the info.

Whose going to renew ASAP, does anyone know from what time they can be bought online tomorrow ?

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/england-football-team-theo-walcott-1925015 So Rickie or Adam or Jrod can not get a look in, nor similair players from other teams. Just goes to show that the new England manager is just a big a C as the others in the past, and can not see past the 'Chosen ones' Manure, Arse etc. If Theo and the OX would have still been at Saints, even they would not be eligable to play. No wonder I don't give a F about England matches, friendley or not.
-
Not a Saints player when doing this, but Shearer was quite a thug in his time. England captain and getting away with this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPp0teYYi70

Tend to agree. If winning promotion to the Premiership is quoted as being worth £120 million to a club, then I expect some money has to go back to the owners, they aren't in this for the fun of it, and you would still need some money available for January transfer window if required.
-
Perhaps we need not a where's Waldo, but where's Kelvin picture?

Whilst the increase in my season ticket is not as steep as i thought it would be, i do think that there will become a point where fans will stop paying these increases year in year out. I know certain people who aren't renewing as they can get to watch all Saints games in the pub, or on the internet. Now with BT getting involved, and who knows what other internet service providers will do the same, that offer games as part of their broadband package they are already paying for, they may just stay away for good. Once you get in the habit of not going to live games it can be difficult to start again. There may come a point where football clubs will need to lower their prices to attract people in to make the atmosphere for the TV. I know this is probably wishfull thinking but times are hard at the momment, and I can not see them getting better for some time.
