Time he did. Showed some nice touches and a couple of decent finishes last season. Sadly does seem to show the symptons of 'lazyfuckercantbearsedness'. Tella stepped up big time in the Champ last season of course, so maybe Mara can deliver a similar surprise?

I think Fraser and Holgate would be solid, experienced signings: good for the Championship. We've all been crying out for some experience to sit alongside the kids for a while: Mee, Coady etc. Now we've got it. Are they world-beaters? No. But they bring some useful qualities and, um, experience. The frustration is the assumption of 'Tella is going, and Fraser is the replacement '. Personally I am going to wait a week and see what happens before shitting the bed and kicking the cat.

I have been thinking the same. He has not suddenly become an incredible finisher just because we dropped down a division. He still can't head the ball (see that 6 yard miss yesterday? He was offside, but even so), and I doubt he's any better in one-on-ones than he was. At the start of last season he scored a couple and was suddenly a forum favourite again. He's a decent enough player, but not a great goalscorer by any means.

Seemed certain we would be in for Piroe. I wonder who Mowbray/Wilcox have up their sleeves? Duk? Wonder if Broja fancies it?
