Watched the second one on C4 last night. Nothing really interesting or exciting at all. Vampire sex is funny though. Good for the odd decent looking bird and set of baps, but overall very average.

Rightyho. Next week will include a round on songs with questions in them. I definitely want to do a death/murder/suicide round. Will appeal to the sense of humour of the punters. Any more suggestions on this fine topic are welcome.

Ahh a themed round, I like it. I had planned one on famous abductions, and celebratory suicides. I also do a picture round: one week I did Tranny or Fanny. It went down well.

As a rule I do go for questons that inform and amuse, so rest assured some of these will get an airing!

So I am running a pub quiz on Sunday, and for the next 6 weeks. Done it many times, but am a bit busy (and being lazy this time) so could do with soome help on putting together questions..... Any suggestions for questions on my TV and Movie round?

I know someone with a Husky called 'Storm'. Cracking name I thought. The ancient God names have to be the way to go though. Makes you look intelligent too!

A team with little pre-season, a lack of confidence from last season and a new manager. Hit the bar twice. Sounded like the better team. Conceded a dubious last minute away from home. Don't see anythin gto be downheartened about. Bad luck for the penalty is all. We will be fine.

Previously on SWF..... ....The following takes place between 20:45 and 21:45. This is about the best thread on this site this year. I congratulate all contributors.

Good article. Cannot fault 99% of what he is saying. His comment about how Trotman will become our no.1 in the air....hmmm; nothing like putting a bit of pressure on a young player eh?

Go on then, I'll bite........ With an honours degree and and MBA I suspect it doesn't.

So who would win in a proper dust up: Wotte of Poortvliet?

Depends entirely on what you do, and whether you do it properly. Have friends who have partaken with decent results...but have done so having undertaken a MASSIVE amount of research. In fact one mate, a builder by trade with no qualifications, who, by the look of him you would class as a musclebound thicko, knows more about human physiology and biochemistry than anyone I have met. He knows the risks and does 'gear' in an increadibly controlled and scientific manner. Drugs in sport is wrong. For personal use steriods are entirely ones own decision/risk. Would be very concerned about being offered gear in a gym though. Mostly users keep things very quiet.

...and I seem to recall from a previous thread that you work in Wessex House? A PM may follow.....

My friend *cough* is interested in how he might go about playing 'backed up' games on his xBox360? Supposing, for example, he was worried about damaging the original discs, and made back ups just in case this were to happen.... T'internet offers all kinds of mysterious and bewildering advice on this. I wondered what straightforward advice/assistance the knowledgeable ones here could offer?

I heard the IT manager was 'let go' last week. Not sure if this was a cost cutting measure or not. Would doubt we're operating in that mindset right now.

Love the optimism. And I agree. Let's be positive for a change.

Quality use of capital letters right there. Saints 2-1 by the way.

Who was sitting next to Pardew at Farnborough game?

Andy Peters. New kit man. -
+1 with bells on. I am about to **** of on holiday. If that **** is manager when I get back the Swiss boss will be getting clog. Billionaire ot not. Don't choose Adams. ELemmental really.

Have to agree. Its a bit like real life FM! Good infrastructure, great fans. Money. A blank sheet. A chance to build something great from solid foundations. BUT - must surely be a job for the young and ambitious rather than the older manager.

Should have stayed in. There should be more webbed toes in the world.

Assuming they are fit, focussed, motivated and organised. Which I worry they will not be, given the ongoing fun behind the scenes, and the fact our manager has sod all experience in League 1. I have a strange optimism though. The off field antics will galvanise the team and we will do surprisingly well this season. Please god.
