He likely isn't mobile enough to play the 90 minutes, but as a last 15-20 minutes when we face a backs-to-the-wall low block - like Newcastle and Forest - he doesn't need to be. His sheer size plumbering around a crowded last third/18 yard box would cause problems. With 5 subs available, it seems crazy to discount him as an option. Could be the source of a few points to keep us up.

Yep. Pretty sure he has far more 'top flight' goals than anyone else in our squad. Of course 'top flight' has not been EPL, but nor has it for most of our squad. The lack of variety in our attack second was shocking. We made it easy for them. Exactly the type of game where TP would have made a massive difference.

Guessing it was tactical: with them down to 10, and likely to sit deep, bringing on a more tricky attacker did make sense. Although I'd have preferred taking off a CB. Agreed though: I thought he was excellent. Really encouraging debut. Looks very good indeed.
