Pretty sure I applied to this job. Was an advert via an agency about 2 months ago for a Commercial Manager for a 'major sports club on the south coast'; responsibilities being leading the ticket sales, sponsorship, marketing, corporate stuff. Chucked my CV in speculatively and didn't get anywhere (I don't really have the background tbf). Can't think of too many other places it could have been.

Good signing. Completely out of the blue it seems. Can we therefore assume that there is now no longer such a thing as an 'ITK poster'? Death to the rumours, long live the unexpected, quality signings.

Always loved his act, in a kind of 'why the hell am I finding this funny?' way. Young age to go too. RIP.

Into the last 16. Good team. Technique, movement, passing, teamwork, tempo. Really entertaining. If England could play like that I would be very happy.

Some of the Japanese players at the world cup are excellent. The striker, Honda, CDAJFU. Excellent touch.

Children's parties?

NC is the new Chuck Norris! BTW - type 'Where do I find Chuck Norris' into Google, and choose 'I'm feeling lucky'. Old, but fun.

Yep. I can only assume that the players we are tracking are too busy playing in the World Cup to finalise their new Saints contracts now. Well, maybe.....

Just finished 'Earth, Air, Fire, Custard' by Tom Holt. Really couldn't get on with it. Bought it for a holiday read. Disliked 'In Your Dreams' too; was a present. I generally enjoy comic novels; and magic/fantasy stuff does not put me off, so should really like Tom Holt. But these two books are just not fun to read. Not bad exactly, just dull and hard work. Would rather spend the time picking my feet.

I am inclined to agree with you! A new midfield general is a good idea! We need a new Marsden! Vassell is a nice idea! But his wages would be too high! I fear! I am going for a beer! COYRS! !

So a couple of us went into Winchester tonight for a quick beer - anywhere but the Charlie. Ended up in the Weatherspoons, paying £1.65 for a pint of Ruddles. Yep: £1.65. Not my favourite beer, but hey... I am no fan of Weatherspoons, but that is a good price. And at 7pm on a Saturday night it is a decent place to spend an hour. Granted when we went back there at 9:30 after an inpromptu curry it was full of chavs and slappers, but still: £1.65. Surely it is not too hard to provide reasonable beer at acceptable prices?

Too many classic films to mention. Seems to have been around for ever. Strangely about an hour ago, well before I heard the news, a group of us were discussing his role in Apocolyse Now over a cheapy curry in Winchester. Sad loss. And I rarely say that about the Hollywood sect. RIP.

The Cart & Horses is pretty good. Very much a gastro pub, but with a nice, though small 'drinking area'. Will never be a 'village pub' but is okay. £3.00 a pint too - and excellent beer: really good. It has been my new local over the past month, but a 15/20 minute walk is just a bit too far. Never been to the infamous Kings Worthy club...heard it is crap though. Cheap beer, but basically a 'vilage hall' with a bar in it. Might be forced to take a look now; it is where all the old-school locals from the 'Charlie' go. I want my old local back!

My local pub (King Charles, Kings Worthy) has been closed for month - new tenants revamping the place. Always been a village 'community pub' - pop in and you are sure to see someone you know for a chat and a beer; good crowd who did the 'quick one after work'; historically lots of events - summer bbq, quiz nights, decent atmposhere for the football etc, decent 'standard' food. Good friendly place. The last tenant buggered it up a bit, by failing to do anything to keep the community involved; and trying to turn it into a 'foody' place, put prices up a lot too. So loads of people stopped going. Shame really. He left a month or two back. Was the grand reopening last night. Got an invite/advert through the door, with a 'it's your pub/ we are giving the pub back to the community' message. Going to start a footie team, etc etc. Felt very optimistic. The place now looks like an advert for Ikea; they have tried to make it a mega-trendy food place - the menu is way too pricey, a pint of London Pride is £3.30, a glass of wine £4.50. Having been a regular for 10 years, I am in no rush to go back. Is the traditional English pub a thing of the past?

Curious as to why it lets you search on their weight. Do managers make signings based on chubb-factor? And what is with the 'enquiry' button? Can I email in and buy one?

Okay - I am tempted with this one. Looks brill, and who doesn't want to play at cowboys. Trouble is I thought GTA4 was over-hyped, and average at best. Loved some of the earlier GTA games, but the last one.....just could not get on with it at all. Would not say it was ****e, but it got traded back to Game pretty quickly. So....how does the gameplay of RDR compare? Think I'll like it? BTW, my fave game of the past few years was Oblivion. Free ranging, loads of missions, good storyline, great graphics, violence! Which seems to sound a bit like RDR........

CM is my favorite place in the world. My Dad lives there, and my fiance is from there. Thailand is incredible. It is so easy to be influenced by the ****ty, sex tourism stuff: but that's not the reality of the place. Overall sounds like you had am amazing time - lucky sod!

An explaination would be welcome.

So they didn't explain the significance of the numbers? THE main line of mystery from day 1. That is very poor. Did they ever explain how Locke ended up able to walk? What happened to Walt and his Dad? How come fatty Hurley never lost weight? Why did the fit brunette never get her thrupney bits out?

Any more detail? They died in the crash and 'dreamt' it all; went to hell? Purgatory?

Driving your frog to a river sounds a LOT like an innuendo Particularly if you have the mind of a 12 year old, and too much time on your hands.

I really can't see why people are getting the ****s with this. So what if there are minor differences in quality. Is anyone other than the most anal really going to worry about this in the middle of the game?

I would not claim that there is a 'full service history' - I cannot find any service book, However, there is a history of service in the form of receipts, MOT certificates, invoices for parts etc. These date back to 1979.
