No leadership on the pitch. Where has the bottle gone?

The official unofficial January transfer targets thread..
Suhari replied to SB's topic in The Saints
Yep. I reckon we will see late (i.e. last day) activity on the striker front. Reckon we'll see Puncheon as makeweight in any deal. We've clearly got the money and the appetite to spend it: though I don't think we are genuinely desparate too. Going to be fun watching the last day rumours. -
Let's all hide......

This is my concern, given that we have been linked with other big strikers too (that Roma fella on loan?) Wonder if a big offer for a striker unproven in the prem would tempt us; and a big signing on fee and guaranteed prem football would tempt Rickie. Bloody hope not!!
-
Wow. That interview says a lot. NA clearly wants Hooper and we are obviously going back for him. Plus another signing for th is week nearly done. We could do this you know....

Here is the proof of Gary Hoopers Skills!

Go on then, give us a clue! (Or a PM) -
Which immediately made me think we would use him as a makeweight somewhere. He would be good enough for the SPL......

The Saints are turning Japanese Now we've signed Tadanari Lee I really think so.... [video=youtube;gEmJ-VWPDM4]http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=gEmJ-VWPDM4

That I like.

Agree. When things are going bad, they often seem to go worse! Reckon the next few weeks will see us sign a few, have another dodgy performance (and probably lose top spot), then we'll push on and finish Champions. Going to be a rollercoaster.

'We don't get too high when we win, we don't get too low when we lose'. Annoyed we lost, but really - what was the likelihood we would go the full season unbeaten at home? - And we all would have taken this start to the season back in August! Hopefully this will be our new Walsall - a long run of wins will start now! Oh yeah, there's the transfer window too. Reckon we might be quite attractive to players looking to move...... WIFM.

Why would we admit to not chasing Sharp & Maynard? Wouldn't it be better to no comment as usual, and so help keep our real targets hidden?
-
Pacific is very poor compared to BoB: very disappointed viewing. I felt no affinity at all to the characters in Pacific - didn't care a hoot about them in fact. BoB is simply amazing.....

Pinch one off on a blue throne, and use blue bog paper: that'll be poper omening that will.

We've all had nights out in Amsterdam, but I believe this thread is about football......
-
Sign a quality left winger, with real pace and guile - not sure who. Play Lallana as the supporting striker. He scored plenty when played there a year or so ago. That'll leave us still able to play Chappers on the right and benefit from his superb forward runs.

...little bits keep falling off of me I'm not half the man I use to be....

Quality player, and seemed to have an everlasting playing career! Doing a decent job as manager too. RIP.

Easy: Nokia Maps. Nokia own Navteq: biggest maping company in the world. Maps of 92 countries - free to download. Public transport routes overlaid onto 94 cities (including the underground in London - showing the stations/lines in their correct colours) Walk mode will take you through shortcuts - e.g. through shopping centres. underpasses etc. Shows distance and estimated time to get there. Maps are stored on the device - so no data charge for using it. And the latest version gives you local points of interest, reviews of local sites (or pubs!) etc. Did I mention its FREE.

Come the Summer you will have a number of nice new options to choose from......
-
Yep. Been playing with various versions for a few months. Works nicely on an N8/E7. The missus uses a Nokia 700 (the first proper Belle phone). It will be on general release to existing Symbian devices from end of this year (ish). You'll have to upgrade to Anna first though.

Go on then..... No, you can't use your Apple apps and services on a WP7 OS. Yes, you get free cloud stirage (25GB - rumoured to be extended to unlimited) Do you get: 'Live Tiles' not boring app icons? - Excellent way to interact with the phone The 'People Hub' - all your contacts from anywhere you log into in a single place, with status updates, feeds etc? (Inc. all email providers, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc). Can't imagine life without this now Integration with XBox Live. You see and interact with you Avatar on the phone. Brill! Out of the box integration with the MS Office suite, Office 365 and OneNote? Cross platform (text, facebook chat etc) threaded conversations? Free music downloads - streamed and stored on device (Nokia Music - really cool) Free voice guided walk/drive sat nav, across 92 countries - which works without a sim? iPhone is the daddy - rightly so, but the WP7 OS is great, and Nokia has really given it life with decent phones. And some of the stuff coming along later is just fantastic. In 2 years WP7 will have a bigger market share than Android.
