  1. F'Schizzle.
  2. This is entertaining. HAVE to score soon though.
  3. Seriously. Get to a Vodafone or Carphone Warehouse on the evening of 25th. There is only One.
  4. Balls. To often we fail to kill off teams when we have the chance.
  5. Lack physical and mental strength when things get tough.
  6. Encouraging. And I agree.....I'd love to see us produce a quality CB soon.
  7. Not sure about JRod upfront on his own....doesn't hold the ball up well. However, I doubt we'll need that a great deal. Epect us to have most of the play - so for me that line up looks potentially very fluid and creative up front. Looking forward to this one.
  8. Boruc Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw Davis Morgan Lallana JRod Ramirez Gallagher Sunny day, nice conditions; expect we'll have most of the ball. Tell Gaston to do his thing for an hour. JWP & SRL to come on for Gaston & Gallagher as required.
  9. Fascinating story this. Sp perhaps the presence of the 20 or so communications specialists on the flight is relevant. Read something a few days ago about perhaps there being an interesting cargo onboard.
  10. If they are found minus only 1 passenger, but with a metal kneecap in the cockpit I will freak out!
  11. Agree completely. But the various governments in place aren't going to willingly demonstrate just how good (or otherwise) their surveillance tech is. I'd image Malaysia are very keen to put a positive spin on the new info (in their favour) given that it may well have overflown their whole airspace without being spotted! Incidentally the Professional Pilots Rumour Network site mentioned earlier in this thread is making for some fascinating reading.
  12. My theory for what it's worth...... Onboard explosion of some sort/depressurization. Knocks out comms to the ground; pilots drop altitude and head back to KL; pass out through lack of oxygen; plane keeps flying west until out of fuel. They'll find it in the Indian Ocean. The Yanks know where it is right now; they are feeding info out to the press in a way that will prevent them clarifying how they know it, and help Malaysian officials regain some face. Note the stuttered wording of the Malaysian press conference: new information; protecting our national security; working with partners. Balls. USA is proactively guiding them to the spot in the Indian Ocean.
  13. He also said that there are some instances where a short term loan is warranted, citing instances if a player is 20 ish and not getting into the first team squad.
  14. HTC One is where it's at.
  15. Watched this on Sky+ just now. Such an interesting topic, and good debate. Reed came across really well, and I love that we have such a considered and 'top to bottom' approach. Find myself thinking just what an effort it would take for the so called big clubs to move to our model.....such a massive change in approach. We're clearly well ahead when it comes to producing English talent; interesting to see how things develop going forwards.
  16. In before the merge! We didn't play great, but a win is a win.
  17. Hard to blame you if you did. I really do wonder about some of our fans. We've got the best academy in the country; we play attractive, progressive, possession football, we're in our second season back in the Prem with the only clubs above us being those who are so-called 'big clubs'. Things are good, and things will in all likelihood get better. Yes we lost today, and yes there is room for improvement. We're on a journey and I love it. COYRs! And TheVman - keep posing your snippets!
  18. Frustrating, but not the first time we have seen this. Fundamentally our problem is speed of thought and movement in the final third. Too often we have none: lethargic passing, no-one making darting runs and lack of ability to see and execute the pass if there is movement. This is an issue since our pressing game results in us squeezing high up the pitch, and teams have now sussed that when we do so we rarely hurt people. It's only been Hull, in the first half, when we've really moved the ball with conviction in the last third. SRL is a legend, but he's too static to play to our style - needs to become the Plan B sub. Davis is neat and tidy, a good player but but lacks the class. JRod has the movement, but can't play up top on his own. Sam G looks decent - but is clearly still young and learning. Gaston is starting to look a player, but needs more in front of him. Such a shame that Dani turned into a cock - he could've been the player to make a difference. For me we should give Gaston and young Sam a run of games; we're comfortably mid-table - let's let people develop. Oh, and MoPo is a class manager. People saying otherwise need to think back to the days of Gray, Wotte, Redknobb etc. If he has a failing it's persisting with his preferred tactics when we don't have the players to truly implement it. But what would you rather? SRL up top being fed by hoofball?
  19. Love the Ninja! Kamakazi defending though. Looks cold there too.
  20. We're moving the ball so slowly! No zip in the passing, and players looking leggy.
  21. I'm not a fan of heights, but that was okay. Enjoyed it. The 'Dont look down' film on c4 was harder to watch. Possibly because I'm 3/4 way through a bottle Rioja to be fair, but hey....
  22. I like him. Always have. Very good in recovery/last ditch tackles. Timing is generally good. Lacks a little physical presence, but a solid prem-quality CB. Could we do better as a back up?
  23. Is somewhat similar to our old managers experience.
  24. That's so sad. My thoughts are with Sam and his family. Bet Dad was so proud to see Sam perform in the way he did against Yeovil and Arsenal. RIP.
  25. "****in love Top Gun...I'm Maverick and you're Goosed" says JRod.
