http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/great-matches/cotterill_s_future_as_pompey_boss_in_the_balance_1_3140729 Good or bad for our fishy friends? Here's hoping they'll appoint Steve Wigley.

Davis, Richardson, Fonte, Hovielt, Fox, De Ridder, Chaplow, Cork, Lallana, Guly, Lambert. For me. Chappers deserves a start. Toyed with Holmes instead of Guly and pushing Lallana just off Lambert but Lallana has been playing so well this season from the left it's hard tto drop him, especially after Holmes' brilliant show against Watford was only his first league game for a year. Keep him as super sub. De Ridder did enough that day aswell to get a start IMO.

This is starting to resemble a match thread... "Bullsh1t evidance!!!" "What crap" "****" "**** it" "oh ffs" "We're doomed...****" "Jury's out" "Out goes jury" "I can't bare this" "He'll get sent down" "Verdict in" "Oh here we go..." "They're back in now" "Verdict time..." "Can't watch this forum anymore" "GET ON WITH IT" "Thanks Dave" "Dave Merrington stating Barnard doesn't want to go down..." "More classy comments from Dave" "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" "Cheers Dave, idiot =/" "WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO" "JUST A FINE" "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" "KNEW IT" "UNF*CKING BELIEVABLE!" "THANK ****" "Trials over" "Wow what a great result" Can we open the "Post trial reactions thread"?

Just put him out of his mysery and either give him a contract or come out with a public statement to say he won't be getting one.

Keep forgetting it's Saturday tbh
-
Yeah, really can see us getting 0 points from the Palarse game...Infact, I bet my house on it!
-
Wow that's actually a pretty decent signing for them.
-
Saw him in a Cup game earlier in the season (possibly the latter part of last season), was ****ing amazing.
-
He's awesome for me on Football Manager
-
Walked passed it the other day but had a train to catch so didn't go in. Anyone been in and seen it? Any good?
-
Just me that genuinely wouldn't take him?

Claridge lives close to me in Park Gate. I see him atleast once a week out and about, lovely guy he is. Speaks very highly of Saints (and actually always has). I usually say nothing more than "Hi Steve, how are you?" to him but if he's in the CO OP line at the same time as me, I have a chat with him. Said the other day he's actually seen more of Saints this season than he has of P*mpey. Don't understand the constent Claridge slating on here, since he became a pundit he's never really said anything neagative about Saints other than when they've deserved it. Great guy IMO. About the game itself, a lot of posts on this thread say 'how did we not win?' but tbf Burnley fans will be saying the same thing. I didn't go to the game but on that evidance it looks like they had the better chances. Decent away point IMO.

May I ask why?

Shots at home please

Cardiff at home. Won 1-0, season we went down. Can't remember a lot about it, Surman scored I think and he made the most amazing save I've ever seen in the flesh. Journos said it was better than Banks against Pele.
-
Have we got a bye into the next round then?
-
The specific address is not required however can remember reading on here a few months back (was about March I think) that Nigel and Andy didn't live anywhere near Southampton yet and hadn't moved their families. Just wondered if anyone knew whether this had changed or not? Would be quite cool to think that they have fallen in love with the area as well as the football club.

He looks like Benthelegend.

Quite possibly the finest 5 minutes of Saints football ever....?
Bad Wolf replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Saints best football ever - The lead up to Channon's last goal for us. (Or was it Keegan? I'm only 20) We actually did play some brilliant football under Jan Portvliette tbf. -
I think I probably would know you if I saw you as you do tend to get to know everyone in that place. Name's Matt, used to go down almost every night with my mates of the same age as me (20), only make it down every couple of weeks or so now. Got married not long ago, had my drink spiked by my wonderful friends on my pittyfully unlively stag night there and got completely smashed. Now we have a rough picture of eachother I look forward to seeing you in the pub in a few weeks and getting a punch in the face from you for making my post sound like a personal add.

Ah right. Not been down there for a while but last time I went there Danny had come to pick a couple of people up in the car park. Can't say I'm a 'friend' of his as a few of them down there can but I say hello to him etc, always seemed a decent enough lad. Give us a clue as to who you are??

Roll Call yeah. Do you drink in there?
