  1. Just get on with it. Wilkins may be a very good coach but he is clearly no good even as a caretaker manager. I don't want us dropping more points this weekend and then reading all the usual, tired platitudes next week. Time is points.
  2. Very well said, you've summed up my own feelings on this issue. It really bugs me when fellow Saints fans - whom I always consider as some of the best and smartest around - respond so foolishly.
  3. All I can say is it better be someone DAMN special in his place. Thanks Alan and best of luck.
  4. Obvious question - can HMRC appeal again?
  5. It's like the final episode of the best soap opera ever!
  6. My personal feeling is that the club have done the right thing. I feel that giving this topic its own thread is a bad idea. Remember these SISA guys fed off of attention last time around and this will just encourage them.
  7. So let me get this straight... now that we have lost the worst chairman in the history of the club, and past an era where we were totally broke, playing rubbish football and skint to the point that we were minutes away from being wound up, we are now complaining about an ambitious, articulate and efficient new chairman who is overseeing us build a strong team with some excellent relatively big money signings because of a three quid booking fee that apparently can be avoided by some forward planning! What is wrong with some people?
  8. So when it was all said and done, Pompey got what they deserved this season: relegation, and nothing more.
  9. +1 Thank you Nicola.
  10. I bet (and hope) he applied for us last year and got turned down. Git, with all he said about Saints and MLT in his book.
  11. I just cannot believe the lengths some people will go to find something to moan about. This time last year we didn't know if we'd have a club to support. Now we have a club that just missed the play offs, won the JPT, have several of the best players in L1 and a rich owner. Moaners, whiners and negative people can get lost.
  12. I know we have to be careful here but if I recall correctly, was there not serious...errr......'surprise' over the salary and contract length offered to Forecast and Pulis respectively? That was a very strange in terms of transfers.
  13. We needed three teams to slip - Bristol Rovers, Huddersfield and Colchester. Rovers we took care of and Colchester also lost. So that's two out of three for us tonight and we still have the game in hand. Be positive!
  14. UKIP, English Dems or Traditional Democrats. I hope and pray the Tories lose this one so they are finished for good (4 defeats in a row) and a real conservative party can take their place. If you are a conservative, please don't vote for the Conservative Party.
  15. Yep, it would be a great idea to boo the guy who has been absolutely pivotal in our revival and first Wembley final for years. To those one or two fans who state: "I see nothing wrong with telling the chairman what we think" I say: "Good!". It means the other 99.9999% of us can tell the chairman we think he is great, and the two or three moaners are complete and utter retards.
  16. Brilliant stuff but get Lambert and Lllana off now. The game is ours.
  17. Who is this idiot commentator criticising Carlisle for every Saints goal, giving no credit to us and just took a dig at our chairman?
  18. Brilliant! Half way there!
  19. Sadly I can't make it. Give them a cheer for me, please guys.
  20. Eternal nothingness means no positivity or negativity. Huntley is in a state of negativity with no real hope of leaving that state. So from his view, there is a benefit to death.
  21. I agree with you today Phil. Can someone please arrange a whip round to pay a clown or someone to cheer up Alpine and Glasgow? I'm so fed up of them and their negativity. Give them both a balloon in the shape of a dog.
  22. This. Though I'd like Semi to be a squad player behind a newly signed RB.
  23. Let's remember that the Equality Commission is a government agency and no doubt has people at the top earning themselves a nice fat salary courtesy of the tax payer. I find it highly unlikely their report could say: " Stop and Search seems to be used fairly well. There really is no need for an agency to investigate stuff like this any more" even if that were the case!
