I wouldn't want Nugent (even on a free) if he came in on wages far over and above those already paid to Lallana, Fonte, Lambert etc (which he would do on a free). This would increase the likelihood of an unhappy/fractured camp manifesting imo, something we don't need

I think it's all talk so we get a decent sum for him at tribunal tbh! I'm really not convinced we were too bothered about keeping him, and I'm really not that fussed he's now gone!

As I've said, the second one is my preference. I think people will be a bit more receptive to it if the image was tidied up (subtly) so as to remove the grainy areas. Can anyone help with this? Really appreciate the effort every designer's putting in!

I think five is too many. From what I can work out, people are split between these two. If we HAVE to have a vote, it should be between these two.

I have no problem with the font but am open to a change if people feel it's necessary - as long as it's clear and not one of these squiggly pretentious fonts! I think the "drowning in red" would be solved by a vector version but, as mentioned previously, we should be careful not to produce a cartoon Markus. Now we seem to be almost settled on a design for Markus' flag, shall we start the designs for the FREE THE FORUM ONE campaign? I expect to see tshirts and flags available for the start of next season

Have to say I agree completely (although no need to talk of others' designs as "p1ss poor"!).. I appreciate everyone's efforts (each and every flag shown on here has contributed in some way to the final design, be sure of that) but I think too many people are failing to appreciate that what looks good as an image on here won't necessarily look good on a flag. I think it's so important to keep the design simple and I believe the below, with a few tweaks people have mentioned previously (vector version of the picture, FOREVER A SAINT on two lines as opposed to three), is our answer. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OBJECTIONS TO THIS DESIGN?

If noone's got an issue with this one, can we not go with this one? Time is of the essence! We just need someone to do a black/white vector version of the picture (ie. simplify it so it's not as grainy in places) and we're almost good to go! I suppose the only debate from then is whether we go for portrait with FOREVER A SAINT in one line across the top or, if we do go for landscape, whether to have the FOREVER A SAINT in three lines or two (ie. the A SAINT in one line below forever)..
