Not all of it - VERY high in net transfer spending league since they got promoted, and most of their spend has beeb on older players with very little resale value. This was big gripe with stoke fans I spoke to before last game of season

IMO it'd have been a much better film had they scrapped the reverse death scene and gone their own way with the bad guy. And if they really were dead set on having who they had as the bad guy, then, as they threatened to do at one point, I think it would have been a neater twist to have kirk align himself with the bad guy to bring down the section 31 element of starfleet ***NOT THAT MANY SPOILERS IN HINDSIGHT***

I understand where you're coming from but can you imagine if the football league had blocked the sisu takeover? They were the only interested party iirc and cov would have faced immediate administration, relegation and the very real possibility of liquidation had it not been green lighted. Yes they've experienced 2 of the 3 anyway, but noone was to know that at the time. The football league would have been blamed, suffered a massive backlash from the fans and probably faced legal action. They're walking a tightrope.

To be fair they do play some nice stuff, I'll never forget that 0-0 we had with them at st mary's in league one though. Absolute anti-football on their part, worst time-wasting and play-acting I've seen. Big compliment to us however, I think poyet knew they couldnt match us if they allowed us to play
