  1. Here - you get more ahem "background".
  2. Can't be arsed to go through all of these but has anyone mentioned Robbie Savage?
  3. Fingers crossed eh? Still if it isn't untill the 1st week in Sept i'll still be happy. Anyway - looks like a good signing and as always a good manager builds from the back.
  4. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15127
  5. Would have thought that was right up your alley!
  6. Just goes to show the man knew F all about football and F all about business.
  7. I'll be there
  8. Cheers for the updates Pilchards.
  9. If theres trouble it'll be at Waterloo between Millwall & Rangers IMO.
  10. ....... what would you expect him to start working on? 1, Fitness 2, Instilling confidence (probably only comes with results)
  11. No arguement from me. James needs to shed a few pounds and I thought we looked v tired from 80 mins onwards. Given the opposition I'm reasonably ok - pardew got a good look and wil know what needs to be done.
  12. I see your point 19c however I think Crouch and Corbett are genuine Saints fans. Wilde - scouse lover is he not and as for he who shall not be named, he just supports/loves himself.
  13. Don't think i'm part of EVERYONE then. Ambition takes many different forms OBS. You carry on watching ML like a hawk. It's so nice to know that we have a punk watcher amongst us - have you been to the tower of London lately? There's loads of punks there and they'll happy let you take their picture if you pay them a tenner.
  14. Same as that - hopefully 3G if not WiFi.
  15. No idea Mr T but I'll check later today! ;-)
  16. What a crap piece - glad I don't buy the star. AP's only quote is a regurgitated one about how he's happy to be joining SFC. Not sure where they got Stern or Jason from that - unless there is an anagram contained in the statement.
  17. Can't say really - he left Reading to go to what he felt was a better football club. So in my mind Reading fans would have a bit of an axe to grind - similar to us with Hoddle. Has AP learnt from his past - lets hope so, after all most good managers do.
  18. Very true - he goes about business the right way. He has a very successfull business model built on sound foundations, foundations that he is starting to build at SFC.
  19. Agreed but now I can't stop whistling it!
  20. Cheers for that. Which begs the question - why is he still at Leeds and not playing in a higher division? Oh and how old is he now?
  21. Excellent lyrics - I wondered where the old codgers had disappeared to now I know.
  22. Fair do's - can't argue with that. Just out of interest - how many times and when?
  23. He lets his heart rule his head - never skipper material (and believe me I was one of his bigger supporters). As to a 17 year old boy - get over yourself. Personally I think Murty would make a good skipper (not exactly 17 is he). Perhaps you'd like to tell me exactly what quality you have seen in him that makes you think he is skipper material (apart from being a good motivator). As to me making mistakes and being a good little boy - again a real LOL moment!
  24. I sincerely hope not - we have moved on and so should he.
