I left at half time - total crap. We needed to up the tempo. So Saints win 2-0 ........... at last.

Think thats about right - strength in depth and allows differing formations depending on the opponents. Not seen much of Dickson TBH mainly due to the way Harding has been playing.

Nail on head. The FA Cup still holds some of my best Saints memories the wins the loses the traveling F Kin great. Kraken - do you know Nick? I can assure you he doesn't see himself as an Uber fan. He is just very passionate about Saints and is always open to debate if you don't agree with what he says (in this case I do not so next time I bump into him we will have a debate about it).

I think sometimes we forget just how obscenely wealthy this family is. The money that has been spent on Saints so far is to put it frankly - peanuts. They will have earned more in the last 6 months in interest than has been spent on us. Now I'm not saying they don't watch the pennies but to fulfil Markus's dream is in relative terms small beer to them. They will want Cortese to stick to the business plan that he and Markus put together to get us where they want us to be but they will allow a certain amount of overspend - ask yourself, if a family member of yours had died and you had it in your power to fulfil his wish would you? I know I would try my level best.

This for me but he needs to get a couple from open play then his confidence will return. At least he is starting to look like he is enjoying himself - his demeanour for the first few games I saw was very down in the mouth looking - it was like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. There not a bad side TBH so although he goes on about or alludes to no respect I'm sure NA will not be looking at it like that and that should mean that the players will not either.

Tis very good news that 3 nil against a club that prides itself on finding the best young talent - looks even better when you factor in the previous wins against West Ham & Chelsea (another club with their fingers in youth football all over the world). Very promising.
