I think he's doing a good job and I'm happy he's our Manager. Saturday was a bit of a kick in the balls (never an easy place to play at) but I'm sure the team will bounce back.

I'm a great fan of 451 or 433 or 721 - which is the beauty of 451 TBH - its adaptability especially when you have a very good squad with the likes of Barney/Conolly/Puncheon..... that can come off the bench.

Looks pretty good to me and despite the 451 - very attack minded. As to Barney - the formation gives us the opportunity to (dare I say it) have a plan B.

We need to win this one - I know its an over used cliche but this IMO is a six pointer. We need to beat teams like this if we are serious about promotion.

I was stood right next to him when it all kicked off - not very pleasant. As to the Joiners - I've always wondered why the OB led them there? Doesn't take a brain surgeon to work it out. Pity the OB can't get done for incitment isn't it?

The police tactics are designed to let things happen then film then nick. So they will carry on letting the fans out at the same time - which will in the end cause more bother and potentially some one could get killed - probably an innocent bystander a la back in the 80's v's WHU at the Dell.

I would have. This is what gets me - the sheer hypocrisy of the OB is astounding. They absolutely love to see (and of course film) the bother just so they can say that they are stamping out football violence/hooliganism - which has been happening for close on a century - but there actions in fact add to the problem. Football fans have become an easy target - you only have to read some of the comments from the hang em high brigade on here to see just how easy.

And what point does it serve? Not to the betterment of SFC.

Adkins is temporary in the scheme of things same as players. SFC to me is far more permanent. Going over old ground just to score some points will not resolve anything. This continual thirst for knowing the truth of the ins and outs of cats arse will in the end be more detrimental to the club than doing it any good. Lets just say (for arguments sake) there was a massive punch up on the training ground with Chairman/staff/players involved - from a fan of SFC's perspective of course you want to know what caused it etc etc but from an outsiders perspective it doesn't put the Club in a good light does it? And there are far more on the outside than fans of SFC. I suppose the old adage of be careful for what you wish for........ is a very good one.

Thats my view TBH. The only thing it will serve is to run the good name of Southampton Football Club through the mud. Not what is needed at all, not now, not at the end of the season.

Were you not there? If we had been amazing in the second half then we would have scored 10, as it was we managed 2 in the final 5 mins. Shrewsbury were crap and thought they'd lost before they even stepped over the white line. We should have murdered them.

Not on that showing! No tempo no desire. We won I suppose he's a genius for that. Other than that we were absolute crap. If we had come up against a tram with some desire to win we would have lost. all IMHO of course.

I left at half time we were crap.
