Can't see it myself FL is or was a top draw midfielder - not just a goal scorer. I don't see JRod as a big passer of the ball in the same mould. But more than happy to be proved wrong. Ramirez is nearer the mark - just not size wise.

Was thinking about this earlier - player values - how much did we pay for our starting eleven on an individual basis last season and how much are they worth now with one years PL experience? Probably one for MLG.

My thoughts too but at the end of the day if you rotate your players regularly then all the players are squad players. It just makes me laugh when people come on here crying that we haven't got XYZ in by the 1st - christ its not like going to Tesco's and popping down the Striker aisle and picking the from the shelf.

Really? I await MLG to put his stats up but from just watching him last season he more than held his own and over the season was probably one of the best MF's in the division. Personally I do not see him leaving as I think he does have an allegiance to SFC - he went down the leagues and came back up when he could have gone elsewhere in that time.

How do you know we are not after the squad players?
