I guess you didn't read the article or my comments then. You would have seen the parallels with experiments, directors of football, coaches who don't know the English league, coaches who can't motivate players, and especially getting rid of your 3 top strikers.

I wouldn't include Hoos in that lot. I know Wilde appointed him, but I for one wish we had Lee back now. Hoos and Cowan with Crouch's backing would in my mind represent a far brighter prospect than Lowe and Lap Dog. Hoos is at least still gainfully employed as a football club director, whereas to the best of my knowledge Hone and Duieu have crawled back into the holes from whence they came.

We should have kept and played both. The luxuries we cannot afford are Pulis, Gasmi, Robertson, Smith and BWP.

Good post. Those who think Lowe is our only choice and that he is financially astute are so wrong. He brings nothing to this club, and in fact contributes to the financial problems by alienating his customers. How big the "boycott" is is of course questionable, but it exists and is now growing. There are much better ways to run a club in trouble than with experiments and third rate foreign coaches who know nothing about the game as played in England.

I found I could read the article and replace most of the names with those at Saints, and it really would not have looked wrong. The problem I have with boycotts is that while they satisfy the individual's need to do something, they do not have any real impact, except where it hurts the club, financially. Unless boycotts turn into protests they will not succeed because no-one can see the size of the protest or guage the extent of the unrest. A petition is all well and good, but it doesn't mean too much, will anyone actually check all the names on the petition to ensure they are not attending (or even exist), no of course not. Direct, non-violent protest is the only thing that will make these idiots, Lowe and Lap Dog sit up and take notice, and by attending the games will not push us closer to administration.

True, we will be in the same financial position, but we could have someone in charge who knows how to run a football club, who has some idea of what is needed to win games in the Championship and doesn't insist on madcap experiments with inexperienced coaches and kids when we are in a desparate predicament. Other people probably could do better with the same constraints. And they may even do better financially, because for sure Lowe is demonstrating once again that he is also not financially astute, which is what some misguided people give him some credit for. Given that he is also affecting our income simply by being here (I have serious doubts about how big this protest really is) then someone else in charge would clearly improve things. We have to stop this negative notion that this is how it is so lets put up with it, things can be better even with the existing financial constraints.

So, why bring in Pulis, Gasmi, Peckhart and Smith? I suspect all of them get paid (alright I accept Pulis may not have been paid so far), if you don't want to increase your wage bill don't sign unneeded players. No-one can tell me that Pulis for one brings anything to the squad.

But the accounts will tell us nothing of use, as they are for the y/e 30 June 2008., i.e. they will contain nothing that pertains to Lowe's financial bunglings. But they will be used to undermine Crouch, despite the fact that Crouch will have only had stewardship for about5 months out of the 12, the previous 6 having been with the Wilde BUnch. The first useful figures will be available in January 2009 when we will start to see the depths to which Lowe and Wilde have taken us.

Disagree completely. Why should we support what is currently there. It is a disaster having Lowe and the lap dog running this Club. I support Saints and go as often as I have done before, but don't tell me to support this lunatic or Lowe. The only way to "heal" this club is for all three of the main shareholders to be ousted, that may take a long long time (or it may happen soon when we enter administration) but until that time this Club is going down hill fast. Personally I would prefer Crouch to remain as a shareholder, sadly because of people's misconceptions he attracts similar bile to Lowe and the other one, so in the interests of moving forward I think Leon needs to go as well.

Lowe does not invest and does not know how to run a footbal club in the CCC. Getting someone in who at least has one of those skills would be an improvement, even without more money. Lowe brings nothing to this club except more and more disgrace. I think the key to getting rid of Lowe though may be getting rid of Wilde. Without Wilde's backing Lowe does not have a leg to stand on. What we really need is Wilde backing Crouch with Cowan and Hoos running the club, sadly we lost Lee Hoos, the only one of the Wilde bunch that actually earned his keep.

Think you do what I usually do and read the first 12 names in the squad (allowing for 2 keepers) and assume thats the team. Often it is, but the wors on the OS suggest that Spiderman, Euell and even Lallana are not likely starters. I think it more likely that Spiderman and Euell may make the bench, and that BWP will be in if Lallana fails a fitness test. Expect Wotton and Mills to start.

Really can't believe this , not just from our perspective but why Bristol City would want him, and how he will fit in with all their other strikers. Beats me. The only thing I am wondering is whether Saga is on his way back now that Rioch has got the push and it was only feaible to have one or other on the payroll. Still doesn't explain the City angle though.

You really have to learn not to bring logical statements like this into this thread. Like my comment about John going to Bristol, it really doesn't make any sense. People on here though just seem to ignore this sort of logic and go on arguing about the rumour, regardless of the fact that it seems to be tripe.

Ignoring all the other stuff on this thread, why would John be going on loan to Bristol City? Seems to me that Gary Johnson has sufficient strikers already, would be be expected to drop Adebola, Trundle, Akinde or Maynard? Sounds like some made up stuff here

Great performance and result tonight, well done to everyone involved. Just shows what can be done with a bit of experience in the team to complement the youngsters like most have been saying all season. Still need to win home games and until we do, we are still candidates for relegation. But lets enjoy tonight.

Quite right, even then it doesn't always work as Fuller and Delap contrived to demonstrate yesterday, with 3 hits of the woodwork between them from 1 spot kick. Still as said elsewhere the only reason Lee save McG's penalty was because it was one of the worst ever penalty kick attempts. The girl at half-time had far better technique than Dave (and probably our mascot is a better keeper than Lee).
