Assume Lowe has not made up his mind for him yet. If Saga does not play then that would be a criminal waste. he really should be just about the first name on the team sheet, and this ****** about him not having played for 2 weeks, crap, hopefully he will be more ready to go than the boysh who are probably tired after last Sunday.

Admin - Watch Rupert find Investors then...
VectisSaint replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
Totally laughable. He may be trying to act in the best interests of shareholders, as he always has, but to even imagine he is trying to act in the best interest of supporters is a total joke. Lowe doesn't even accept there are supporters, we are customers, or we are the lunatic fringe, completely irrelevant to his plans, and completely ignored. You do at least admit that he is "trying" to act in the best interests, sadly "trying" is not good enough. He is failing, and his actions are taking us closer and closer to relegation and probably administration. The current situation is the result not only of the last 2 years (primarily caused by the man propping up Lowe's regime now, Judas Wilde) but also of Lowe's previous mismanagement. The fact of the matter is that Lowe is lauded by some as being some sort of financial genius, whereas the truth is that he is anything but a financial genius and on top of that knows absolutely FA about how to run a football club. -

Rudi: Too many youngsters playing and I want away
VectisSaint replied to Big Ron fan's topic in The Saints
5 actually - Fuller, Delap, Pericard, Davies and Higgy. Still at least we have Pulis. BTW has Rudi signed yet LOL I suspect once Jan reads this on Sky, that Rudi will sadly be shown the door a la Wotton. Speaking out against the experience that is JP is not allowed. I would be sad to see Rudi leave, I feel his experience has been very important in even keeping us on terms in some games. We usually look better when Perry and Rudi play at the back, even with James and A N Other. I think he also always had the potential to be a "star" for us, if only we had persisted in playing him in his favoured, if not his original position of LM. His fitness has sometimes let him down though. Expect to see him elsewhere within 25 days -

Only if he can prove he doesn't :yawinkle: There has to be some reason for his ridiculous decisions and tactics. -
It may have something to do with being in the top flight of Engliah football for 60+ years (compared to our 27), being League Champions twice and European Cup semi-finalists. Derby have a very long and illustrious history, and as a result have a very large following compared to our own. The urban area around Derby would provide the basis for a much bigger support base than Southampton, where the surrounding area is not the working-class football based population like the industrial midlands. Its not so much that Hampshire people are interested in football, its more that football is traditionally a working-class sport, and Hampshire really isn't very "working class" outside of Southampton and Pompey.

Are we the only team who can't sack our manager, regardless of the results?
VectisSaint replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Most people understand the concept of long term. Its just that having a concept of long term is of no use if long term does not exist. When the long term coach presides over relegation and the probably inevitable administration that will follow, the long term strategy is of no use whatsoever. In order to impelement a long term strategy you need to be absolutel sure that the people you put in charge are at least competent. There was no indication that JP met this basic criterion, sadly. Having a modicum of success in the Dutch lower leagues really does not provide a valid indicator of competency in the second tier of the best and most competitive football league set up in the world. -
Surely Party Sevens never had beer in them, even when full

So he's on a low wage then LOL

The Official Saints Web "He Could Do A Good Job For Us" Thread
VectisSaint replied to Chez's topic in The Saints
Dowie, Adams, Cotterill, Tisdale - any of these could do a job for us, and unless one of the above or similar is brought in to do a job for us, anyone else mentioned above is just a waste of time with the current incumbent, dope smoking amateur. -
League not looking likely for manure this season, you have to be joking. 2 games in hand and 7 points behind Liverpool, who will likely be losing their captain to a few weeks at her majesty's pleasure before the end of the season. To me Manure are clear favourites. Doesn't detract from the fact though that Fergie still intends to win the Cup, and will only rest one or two stars, probably Ronaldo and Rooney, but will still have more than enough to beat us at a canter. Luckily its only live on Sultana so not too many of the general public will see us thrashed.
-
Molyneux, thats the fella. But why was he training with us if it was dependent on Skacel leaving and why would Skacel go to Ipswich? They couldn't agree terms before, I don't see what has changed.
-
Doesn't seem like the appointment has actually been made. While I'm not upset that he is not joining us (never thought he would anyway), the really bad news is that he is joing one of our rivals for relegation. I would suggest Forest will not be relegated under Davies, and that they will now finish the season mid-table. With Donny also improving, as expected, and with Charlton having the benefit of parachute payments, I guess that makes us clear favourites for the drop, unless Lowe acts NOW and replaces JP. The chances of that look slimmer and slimmer.
-
What happened to the kid we were supposed to be getting on loan from Everton. Can't remember his name, but was supposed to have been training with us already. Has the deal collapsed?
-
Does it still exist? If so what stance did it take at the recent AGM? I assume Wilde withdrew his proxy to the Trust at some point. Had high hopes for the Trust when it was set up but it seems to have become a meaningless, or at least very low profile organisation.
-
Hope you've got your Santana prescription
-
So that will be Bolton then. Pompey will be in the CCC..

Given Robertson and Peckhart have gone, we don't actually have too many options. If it was down to me Saga would start with McGoaldrought playing behind him.

New Year Messages for Michael Wilde here please
VectisSaint replied to Big Ron fan's topic in The Saints
I refer you to my message to Rupert Lowe, with brass knobs on. -
Comparison of Robertson with Lewis Hamlton is indeed a bit stupid. You do know that Lewis is almost 24 (4 years older than Robertson) and has been driving since the age of 6. Probably has more experience than most people in their mid-30s. If a few more kids actually spent some time driving karts under controlled conditions and experiencing the speed and car control long before they were allowed on the public roads, we probably would not have half the problems we have with young drivers today. Sadly long gone are the days when you learned car control in a farm yard or a field or on a disused airfield, nowadays kids get their licence and think they know how to drive. Anyway, take back some of what I said. I read the press report that he was driving a Merc sports car. In hindsight a CLC180 is about as like a sports car as a Ford Fiesta. It was probably a diesel as well
-
Guess you are a young inexperienced driver as well then. If you don't think experience behind the wheel counts, then God help anyone on the road when you are around. Kids driving Merc sports cars should not be tolerated. Now feck off and learn to drive, ****.
-
Be a good chap and feck off. Go play with Wilde in some far flung land or Channel island, and don't darken our doorstep again, you evil, ignorant, pompous ****. Please tak your third rate Dutch coaches with you as well, they are nice boysh but have no business working in a professional league. Thanks PS - if you could take the picture of the ruddy train and shove it up your arse before you leave that would be much appreciated. That will enable us to replace the picture of someone who actually did some good at this club.
