Its a couple of steps up from Dutch semi-pro leagues Serious pooint though, people talk about the lack of width, but how can we have width when the pitch has been made so narrow. I was shocked how far the touchlines have been moved in, thought perhaps it was only one side, but having been both sides of the ground now we must have narrowed the pitch by about 4 or 5 yards in total. No wonder our MF were getting in each others way yesterday, there is no room to play. If Holmes is available against Palace then having such a narrow pitch would be a hindrance.

Would this mean Joe Jordan would be heading back our way?
-
He no longer has 1 share though. Just like me, his shares are now worthless and though they may exist on paper they no longer count for anything. That is the difference now.

Oh God, someone who actually believs what Lowe said. It was WILDE that was responsible for racking up the debts, the same ****er who brought Lowe back in. Thats why Lowe keeps trying to point the finger at Crouch, because it is totally barmy that Wilde became Lowe's king maker. The two guys are barking. If you were at the game yesterday they you will have realised that 25k plus were very much in favour of Crouch and Lawrie being involved. I may not like Crouch much personally but unlike Wilde and Lowe he at least has a heart and it is very much in the right place.

Can't see him either, but saw him before the game walk past me in a shocking suit with his sheepskin draped over his arm. For sure he was there, it was really a bit hot for a sheepskin I think, I'm suffering from a sore forehead this morning, serves me right for leaving my hat in the car

What utter and complete ******. Since when have Saints fans demaded success. We may crave it, but demand how can you be so stupid. What we demand, if we demand anything is honesty and decent football. Those two reasons alone are why there has been a huge drop off in support this season, dishonesty from Wilde and Lowe, and **** poor football on the field, as demonstrated once again yesterday. And of course the football quality is down to Wilde and Lowe as well, sheer stupidity of employign a semi-pro coach and trying to play all the kids. Lowe knows nothing about football, and now he is gone perhaps we can get some things sorted. At least with no PLC a buyer can come in and take over, with the PLC still in the way it was effectively blocked by Wilde and Lowe. We will be relegated this season, the table and our performances do not lie, and the inevitable points penalty will confirm it anyway. But hopefully we will survive, and will be run properly as a football club again.

Shearer and Dowie

Hyped up too soon, believed the hype, one of the dangers of bringing in young players too soon. He will bounce back, but probably needs some time out of the team and out of the spotlight. I didn't see him do anything yesterday.
-
Was it Motty? He was at the game today, being fawned all over. Perhaps he is going to take us over now that he has given up commentating...
-
Still at least they were there for 70 minutes, the team didn't turn up at all. Noice in the Itchen North was pretty good, especially in the first half. Quite honestly the atmosphere was dead adfter Charlton scored the second. Did the Northam make any noise today, cos we didn't hear much of them. Course it could just be the acoustics.

Sounded like it was quite full when I booked my ticket a few minutes ago in Block 2. I guess because I'm going "Billy No Mates" tomorrow they fitted me in.
-
No, no, no, thats like an invitation to Lowe to come back:mad:
-
Didn't know they were literate

You are wrong as noted already, but we could be Southampton County Seriously though Southampton St Marys it should be, and we should play in red and white as per the original team. I think our nickname ought to be Saints. I like history. Please whatever else, not AFC Southampton.

Wilde and Lowe have just been escorted from the premises

Hope not, we could get those Cash in the Attic folks round and auction it for a tenner, every little helps -
LOL. Club goes into administration due to the fans. You are joking right? Nothing to do with the appalling football, the results, the terrible decisions made by board and semi-pro coach. We are customers, as your lord and master has made clear many times, as customers we have a right to be treated reasonably and be provided with goods/services of merchantable quality. If customers have deserted Saints temporarily then the blame sits fairly and squarely on the sloping shoulders of Wilde and Lowe. The Bank has finally seen the light and realised that 2 failed business men are not fit to run this Club.
-
Are we in Administration now then? The Echo says we are so I guess we must be. As for Wilde, try to show some sense of contrition, you are the main reason why we are in the **** now, not just for what you did after Lowe lead us to relegation but by compunding the error by letting Lowe back in. You are a bigger problem in my view than even Lowe.

It was on BBC Breakfast News on TV this morning just after 8am, it was only the web site that had nothing until a little while ago. Their source is evidently the Skegness Standard
-
To be pedantic, its not the FA, its the Football league that have the Admin rules. Eikther way it will amount to the same thing, 10 points this season and at least 10 points next as well. Why didn't the 2 idiots force this last week, nothing has changed since last Thursday.
-
Exactly why business experts should not run football clubs. If they were football experts they would see otherwise.
-
Is Exeter any more inland than Southampton? Theres not a lot of difference. Exeter is also further south than Southampton. You cannot really argue with geography.
-
No they didn't. It was 2 years ago. They lost out in the play-ofss last season. Pedantic about them not being south coast, they are as much south coast as Weymouth. The "south coast" means that, the southern coast of England. Agree that Plymouth should count as well, and they aren't doing too well either.
-
Torquay are doing OK, though they missed the chance to go 2nd today.
-
I see Dexter has joined Forest, could be somewhat galling to have him score against us on the last day
-
Doesn't really imply that, it could more accurately suggest it is the last one. Could be that we staged the payments, and we still owe 100k.
