3-0 winners at Stoke tonight, Sam Bellis scored twice.
-
The point is that you didn't have to say anything at all.
-
Sort of depends who else is there, otherwise you've really answered your own question. He was an Academy product (he was at the Bath Satellite initially, like Bale) and spent 8 years with the Club. Hails from nearby (to me) Chippenham, and his Dad, Ade was on the coaching staff for a while. Rupert Lowe and his buget axe were responsible for Mings being released, and he went about getting back into football the hard way, initially at Millfield School and then through non-league Yate and Chippenham before being picked up by Ipswich. He's actually a really level headed, down to earth guy, despite what Souness might have you believe, and well liked among his contempories around here. I think that Lowe probably finished Mings with Southampton, left a bitter taste.
-
Why Redmond, he wasn't even in the squad yesterday? and why only 4 subs? We should start with Stu and Joe, Adam A is a better impact sub. If Perraud starts (which would be harsh on Djenepo) then Djenepo def needs to be a sub, Adam, Mara, Moi, you're right its difficult to see another impact sub, unless we have a new striker by then.

Didn't see that or any mention of it on MOTD re-run this morning. Heard it on the commentary yesterday (Jo Tessem).

At last, some good news
-
There are a good many on here who seem to be experts in the field.
-
Think you're probably talking bollocks but there you go, seems to be a lot of it about at the moment.
-
Not true, Valery got in the Birmingham team straightaway, played 7 times for them, but they brought in Lee Bowyer and he was never included again, possibly because he criticised his new teammates, possibly just Bowyer not wanting him, anyway he was frozen out, not because he wasn't good enough.
-
Kane and Son didn't score, we obviously nullified that threat. 😉
-
Didn't realise that there are 3 less teams in PL2 this season, meaning Div 2 now only has 11 teams. Means 6 less league matches for the B team, which is not good for development. Important for the B team to get back to Div 1 playing against the best teams and playing more regularly. Burnley, Birmingham and Reading have all left.

Mings is clearly looking out at Villa, but I'm pretty sure that he would not consider Saints again, we fucked him off royally when Lowe released him.
-
Don't think we can bring on Lyanco.
-
The points dropped from a winning position caption will get an early airing.
-
Lyanco had his green kit confiscated by the club so not able to play. Didn't he go off injured in one of the home friendlies (though I thought they said it was cramp).
-
By which time we will have played 5 matches and preparing for the 6th the following day, more than 15% of the season. The lack of a front man is really going to hurt, I think we can cope until then in other positions. Perhaps we let Shane leave too soon.
-
Other than possibly Bazunu, doubt that any other wonderkids will play (or at least start). Aribo is not a kid, he might play.
-
Still under discussion from what I can see, but looks likely.
-
Don't think I would have selected Lawrie, WGS or Poch to back up this point (and I won't have a word said against Lawrie or WGS). Lawrie and WGS were renowned for not suffering fools. Hypos point is not well made and doesn't stand up to scrutiny in the real world.
-
Is there anyone who doesn't treat players differently depending on whether they like them or not?
-
We need a lead striker and #10. There are other places that would be a bonus but not a need. We aren't going to get another CB in when we already have 7 on the books (unless one or two go) and it looks like we are covering the FB/WB position with Djenepo etc.
-
He played internationals during the Summer so came back to pre-season late (along with Stuart Armstrong and Prowsey and probably one or two others) so pre-season was somewhat different for him (and them). Of course if we have someone lined up to come in then maybe he is on his way, but some of the guff in that article is utter nonsense, especially the bit about "down the pecking order".
-
In what way have we squeezed Adams down the pecking order. Since last season we have lost Broja and Long. As things stand I would say he is #1 striker.
-
The interaction between Lyanco and Tella was a bit odd to say the least. Lyanco looked none too happy. Surprised the media team didn't edit that bit out.
-
So who do you expect to play the full 90? I would assume Romeu, but could be Adams or Armstrong.
