Into my 2nd 6 monthly subscription, tried all the free ways in an effort to beat the man but haven't found anything more reliable.. At £20 odd for 6 months and all the Saints games + most other things I like to dip into (Cricket, Darts, Boxing) I ditched Sky a long time ago..

Season ended when we got knocked out of the FA Cup and the chance of winning a trophy disappeared...

Strangely enough my laptop and Raspberry Pi worked perfect with the NBC fix above. After the game i began setting up a 2nd PI in my boys room and got this problem after installing NBC and adding the fix, anyone solved it yet?

You can Chromecast, just takes a little fiddling... Open a Chrome tab, click you Chromecast tool... On the right hand side you'll see a small drop down arrow, click it.. Here you have an option to cast screen/window (rather than just a tab), click it... You now got you entire PC/laptop screen on Chromecast, fill your screen with Kodi and it's now on your tele... Always a solution

Kodi is an open source media player, free download that'll work on just about anything as far as I aware. Although no expert but I've got it up and working on my Windows 8 machine as well as 2 Raspberry Pi with a little help from Google.....

Haha, I mean I like playing but please don't ask me how or why it works... I've heard of Linux but no knowledge further than that, do use it to view my homework network too though ...

Not at all geeky but believe Pi is Linux based... Latest model is B+ Bought a complete kit off eBay inc Pi, Case, power lead, HDMI lead, wifi adapter and micro SD card with Noobs software for £51. 2nd one I just bought the Pi £26 and cover about £4 knowing everything else was now standard and software could be downloaded free. Also need a top quality micro SD card.. Gave up on the wifi adapter and cabled Ethernet early on. You may have more luck with your wifi.

Cheers, will try both later. Only had it a few weeks and still experimenting. Brought it as an alternative to hooking the laptop upto the big screen and been very impressed although can be a bit hit and miss. Use SportsnationHD and Phoenix add on to get Sky Sports channels at the mo. Already bought a 2nd one for spare room

How do I change the DNS on Raspbmc?? Got Pi up and running on the tele and found the channels. Used Unotelly before and found DNS settings on Raspbmc but can't see how to change them... Normally watch via SportsnationHD add on and subscription so always keen for alternatives/back ups...
