Been drawn to this thread by the title... My Saints connection was formed by being born and bred in Southampton and living in Paynes Road until I was 6 years old before my family moved to Devon.. Reading above, seems like I had a lucky escape.....

Just won 3 games on the spin at FIFA playing as Saints to earn promotion, unheard of by me... It's nailed on...

Been thinking the same thing but dared not start a thread. Is promotion the be all and end all? Much as I'd like to see us win it this year, see us win a league in my lifetime and the idea of promotion would still be a fantastic achievement on its own but the idea of the Premiership and all it brings isn't one that fills me with great excitement... Maybe it'll be different when we get there!

Would like to see Leeds rough it up a bit 2nd half, try and get amongst them and knock Reading out their stride...

Ok, obviously if Rickie plays this question becomes null and void but what happens if he doesn't? Does Billy have another go and see his confidence rocket when he bangs it in or has the batten been passed on? Who fills you with the confidence to bang in that last minute winner when the scores are tied and the ref points to the spot??? I'm going Danny Fox, dunno why cos I'll be bricking it whichever way but he's known to hit a good dead ball and what better time to see it than from 12 yards away on Saturday...

I know I've seen this asked before but haven't got the time to look for it because I'm waiting for a train to bring me and my 8 year old from Devon to Southampton and visit St Mary's for the first time (his not mine...) Just had a lightbulb moment that as we'll be in town from just after midday we maybe able to get to the stadium and see the players arrive. On previous trips my pre match routine revolves around as many pubs as possible and his sole plan upto now has been to get McDonalds!!! Anyway, anyone who can help with what time they are likely to arrive and where we'd catch them would be very much appreciated..., Thanks in advance

Missed the 2nd bit, much as love to spend the evening in the pub drinking beer and watching football I'll be at home trying to get 3 kids to bed and quiet before kick off time cos Monday night is the wife's night out!!!

Don't go out much in Exeter these days but live only 10 miles away.. The Black Horse is best known as the football pub in town. If its on anywhere i'd suspect there...

Test Match? I had to have something to do when Subbuteo was on a summer break...

Hours of my childhood were lost playing it, propably the same amount of hours my kids lose on games consoles... Remember i used to have the pitch stuck down to chipboard, also the training set up for skills perfection Wonder if my parent still have it in their loft....

Very nice i believe, never stayed there but been to a few wedding receptions, right on the river so cracking spot if the weather holds. Must confess i've used the pub next door a lot more where the food and drink has always been good but think it's all owned by the same people so would have no fears about it... My wife says i've certainly taken her to worse...

Same village I live in, just outside Newton Abbot.. Maybe you could come and babysit my kids for the weekend whilst I do all the fun things mentioned...

FA cup for me everytime but I'm an old fashioned traditionalist... Idea of Saints master plan worries me slightly how I'd cope if we ever made it to the champions league and became just like those clubs I've come to despise.....

Tried TuneIn radio on the IPhone, unfortunately no good... It just picks up the Internet stream rather than the Solent broadcast so cuts to continuous adverts at game time....

Yep, it does work, try it out with the free app version first, problem is free version times out after 5 minutes (or something like that) and you need to keep reloading... Pay for the full version and no time limits, i use it for all match commentaries, highlights and interviews with no problems at all...

Iswifter works a treat on the iPad, haven't found it available for the phone yet thou....

Come on here looking for a picture of the trophy too... Anyone got one or even know what it looks like???

Ok, take that back, looks like an IPad only app so still no Saints Player on phone but can confirm works ok on iPad...

Just tried this on my IPad, genius, watched the Saints Player Plymouth highlights on it, will test with commentary at the weekend... Downloading now for phone also....

Thanks for the offer Baj but it will be a hotel in Yeovil coupled with copious amounts of alcohol. It'll be our first chance to get away after have our 3rd child a few weeks ago, Yeovil's only about an hour away for us and with it being a Saturday will try and make a weekend of it if babysitters allow..... Not sure the wife would be so enthusiastic if i told her we were crashing at some 'internet stranger's' house, no offence, sure it's lovely... For the record, this is my favourite Bluetones track (no idea if the video will come up, i'm more of a lurker than a poster but couldn't help but share some Bluetones love...)

Didn't realise there so many Tones cross Saints fans out there.... Seen them a dozen or so times and a band that always been massively underrated, would put them up with Teenage Fanclub in that category.... Already got tickets for the first night in Yeovil as it's closest to us in Devon. Trying to persuade the wife it's worth and overnighter in Brum for the last gig but may have settle for the penultimate in Bristol....
