I don't really understand how this is Gao's fault. As many people have said, Hughes did okay with his tactics and and selection. The issue as I see it is purely with player recruitment and it looks like, from the outside anyway, Gao made money available for this season. The people deciding which players to buy are the issue. I think most of our players are playing as well as they can...they just aren't good enough.

Not sure if you were around last time got relegated Wes but none of those things happened. Season ticket remained the same price and the football remained pretty poor. Things only changed with Markus & Nicola

End of the road for me if Fat Sam is appointed. A club can stand a few well intentioned mistakes but hiring him would represent a 100% loss of integrity & any success on the pitch would be worthless and empty.

I think Forster has to take responsibility for a lot of goals going in this season....Today is the day I officially start to worry about our Prem safety.

Right or wrong...I had absolutely no confidence in Forster getting anywhere near that.....pretty shocking his loss of form and confidence

I thought the first 15 minutes were the best we've played all season....can't really understand the total capitulation since. Maybe Spurs are actually that good. Puel's triple substitution looks like it might pep things up a bit though.

I think we've just come up against a better team than us in virtually every area......doesn't happen that often any more.

So I am mostly positive about Puel & most players in their positions...and we are getting better every game but am surprised that even the most fair minded posters haven't mentioned the massive slice of luck we got with our goal.It was a good free kick but it hit the bar .....it was essentially a fluke that it ended up going in. The criticisms of Long's finishing are fair but the fact is that it's no fluke he is getting all the chances...nobody else is getting those chances and therefore we need to persevere with him and hope he finds his goalscoring boots.

Obviously the way to beat us is to stand off, give us as much possession as possible and hope you get a shot on goal.....you know we won't score and you also know that your one shot will go in.

Costa got VVD riled up and it really affected his game. I've been a Pelle supporter for the most part but you don't try those fancy flicks with the game poised as it was...you just keep possession. That was old Saints in the last 15 mins. Let's hope everyone forgets about it and moves on

Hi all Could be an odd question.... I've just recently had an urge to start up my Saints shirt collection again .....call it a mid-life crisis. I'm talking about 80's onwards...not TOFFS type classic replicas. Is there anywhere other than Ebay that's good for this kind of thing? I have all the Friends Provident & Flybe stuff.....it's shirts either side of the early 2000's i'm after. Also, even getting this seasons shirt is a struggle...I no longer live in the area and the online store only seems to cater for people of a slightly larger build than me.....I'm after Medium or Large. Any help would be grateful received.
