  1. My connection to Saints Player just cut out. A voice said "Cleared". Anyone else have that happen?
  2. Three minutes of extra time. Will be glad to see the end of this half!
  3. Yeah, he speaks a lot of sense, and shows great sensibility.
  4. Saints are disjointed, says Merrington - not stringing enough passes together. And not getting past the full-backs down the wings.
  5. "Blockbuster" shot from Lambert on goal.
  6. Weird move from the ref - a drop ball!
  7. A chorus of boos as a Tranmere striker goes easily to ground again!
  8. Tranmere have another shot on goal. That was close!
  9. Merrington says this is looking like the Brighton game. Things not going our way.
  10. Boos from the crowd as a Tranmere player makes a meal out of a Saints tackle.
  11. Tranmere going for it. Commentators say "they are not setting up shop", but show confidence and organisation.
  12. Another free-kick from James. Good ball into the box.
  13. Let's hope for the same from Antoniononono.
  14. A low free-kick from James comes to nothing.
  15. Antonio gets past the full-back for the first time.
  16. Connolly showing lots of pace breaking down the left wing, but comes to nothing.
  17. Merrington says that Tranmere are "well organised" today.
  18. Yes. Anyone know what the attendance is today? I suppose they haven't announced the exact number yet.
  19. Must be one of his favourite words - he used it last week, as well!
  20. Nobody around to start the thread? COYR!
  21. No need to be so aggressive. He is mistaken about the dates, but there's no need to call him a liar - I don't think he intended to mislead. [bTW, the very worst "killer smog" in the UK happened in London in early December of 1952.]
  22. I got the 6-disc series in the tin box set about a year or two ago (DVDs). Great picture and sound quality. I imagine the blu-ray series must be awesome.
  23. "The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom." (William Blake)
  24. I've never heard that live LP recorded in Boston. How would you describe it? Are you familiar with the Fleetwood Mac in Chicago LP? It was recorded at the Chess Studios in 1969. Some of the great Chess bluesmen sat in on some of the sessions. The version I have of it is a double album (vinyl).
  25. I liked much of the Fleetwood Mac and Rumours material (although Stevie Nicks was rather annoying) - especially Christine McVie's stuff, but I preferred the earlier bluesy material - especially the recordings when Peter Green was in the band.
