  1. No chance for Davis. Just our luck It pretty much hit Torres. If he had a couple of seconds to think he would have found a way to miss. Gaston has been a total man down, no idea why he's still on but given his contribution today I hope he's sold. May struggle to find a taker mind
  2. Gaston has been terrible. Lallana has been pretty tidy on the ball and has gotten into a few decent positions. Chambers has played well on the right. I'd be tempted to have Lambert on for Gaston sooner rather than later, J-Rod not getting into the game much up there and possibly better playing a bit deeper
  3. We don't do that well up there ? We've played them ONCE since 2005/06. The result on Saturday will have nothing to do with games we played 15-20 years ago. If we're up for it we will take the 3 points. Up to the guys to make it happen
  4. Not sure how likely Clyne and Morgan are (any updates??). If we need to go with Davis & Cork at CM I think we might see Gaston behind Osvaldo. Although he's just back from injury, I think JWP could do with a break. Alternatively, could SRL do a job in that role?
  5. j-Rodddddd!! I think we'll go on and score a couple now. However, who is this co-commentator ? He hasn't a clue...!
  6. Managed to purchase tickets this morning. Should be a beltin day out
  7. Travelling down from Glasgow for this one, if any season ticket holders aren't planning to go to the game and fancy doing a good turn my email address is chris_connelly@hotmail.com Cheers
  8. £29 return from Glasgow on the train!

Lee Wallace at Rangers would be a good shout.
  10. That's a relief. When should we expect tickets to be on general sale?
  11. That's a relief. When should we expect tickets to be on general sale?
  12. Are season ticket holders likely to take the full allocation for Newcastle? Was hoping to get tickets for that one.
  13. I'm coming from Glasgow mate
  14. I've booked my train alrwady... Praying it isn't moved!
  15. Brown & Forster are on £25,000. Hooper is on £18,000 and was offered £25,000 which he rejected. Believe Wanyama was on around £12,000
  16. Have you seen much of Wanyama? He strolls through games at centre half. To even put Fox (at centre half!) in the same sentence as VW is a joke. However, not sure I'd be looking to replace Cork or Morgan so if he's not playing at the back I'm not sure where he fits in
  17. If he signs I sincerely hope it's to play centre half. Unless we have a spare £15mil for a proper good one... Make it happen.
  18. Care to elaborate?
  19. I was asking how you arrived at that opinion? Aside from being completely different players (Mayuka could never be considered the "main man" at Celtic purely down to his playing style alone) you can't have seen anything of Mayuka to suggest he could cut it at any level, let alone score 30+ goals a season.
  20. Saw him in the flesh in 5 games last season and many more on the TV. He's a fantastic talent, strong as an ox, uses the ball well, and has developed into a threat at set pieces also. However, if he were to sign with us I'd much rather see him playing centre half where he is equally comfortable. Our need there is far greater.
  21. What do you base that upon exactly?
  22. This is how most sackings are done now. Relieved of duties, placed on gardening leave and continue to be paid until the earlier of the contract ending, or finding a new job. I'm sure there was a big thing about this regarding Tony Mowbray's dismissal from Celtic
  23. Thought Jos was different class yesterday. He and Yoshida were dominant throughout and gave City next to nothing in the forward areas. Looked like a partnership that had been playing together for years
  24. Surprised his kicking has people worried... He's naturally 2 footed and has been excellent with the ball at his feet throughout his career.
  25. Watched the highlights from Wigan last night... Save in the first half really was marvellous. Unlucky not to save Maloneys shot at the end... Had Maloney caught it in any way cleanly he would have. At the time I thought he could have saved Caldwells header since he was beaten from so far out but he really had no chance at all.
