I totally agree. I too listened first half and as an Cambridge lad, where Steve Claridge made his name, I was utterly disgucted by what he said. He should do his homework before coming out with such rubbish. We play 4-5-1 not 4-4-2. We had to sell or go out of business. Then I went in and watch sky. What a good game I saw. Not the bad game Clarudge was talking about on the radio.

Alpine your post just shows how little you really know about football. Rasiak does not fit the style and system of football will have chosen to play, Accept it and move on.

In our predicament this must be considered success and lets not forget that we sold off the likes of Walcott and Bale and reinvested the money in what? Failures - high wage players that achieved nothing.

The facts are that we don't know the every day business of our club and we shouldn't second guess. Does Skacel want to play for Saints. Do Saints want a player who is not committed. My guess is that he will shortly go out on loan.

What is a decent player? Euell, Skacel, Rasiak or Schneiderlin, Gillett, Thompson, James Who would you want in the starting eleven for Sat? The thing is those players we thought were good and paid them accordingly are now second choice players in the new football system. Maybe these boys have come of age, but Burley had good young players in Cranie, Best and others and instead chose to put our club in the financial state we are now

I'm sorry but this is a ridiculous statement. Lowe has not been at the helm for almost 2 years and none of these youngsters have been good enough in this time. As I remember Burley was chosen because of his work with youth players. Your hatred of Lowe clouds your judgement the man on numerous occasions accepted responsibility. However he has laid the foundations for our survival and we should all be thankful. Good luck Mr Lowe your success is our success.
