Think the deal for Tino was a good one and glad we got Newcastle to more than double their initial bid. I'd have liked to keep Tino but there were a few question marks over the injury and whether he could get back to what he was, more injuries etc. In addition he suffered stamina wise in his first season, struggled to finish games and needed to be dropped before his injury. I'm not sure I'd be 100% certain he'd last a full championship season anyway.

Yeah, that's a good point. I'd forgotten Martin would have known him - both played the same position as well. Always slightly concerned when you're linked with someone that was highly rated but for some reason never got that big move or really kicked on. You wonder whether their motivation is going to be great - he'd probably have been hoping for a move to the premier league considering the hype that was around him a couple of years ago. If Martin knows him though then you'd think he'll be able to assess that quite well.

Anyone see him beat Spence last night? Utterly dominant performance and has to go down as one of the best. I managed to see him fight at Madison Square Garden in 2017 and feel quite lucky to watch him live. His speed is unreal.

Yeah, Edozie won a lot of fouls but didn't beat the first man too often. We've seen him do it before so hopefully he gets his act together soon.
