Might be the best option - most ot the best players are signed up by now!

Hope he's given a bit of time to get things right given we are now less than two weeks from the start of the season and still to start building a team fit for Div 1
-
We also only have Harris' word for it that the Swiss bid was lower, which given that the full extent of bid and its terms has never actually been confirmed, is at best questionable and at worst a lie.

From the Daily Telegraph: BEGBIES TRAYNOR, the insolvency specialist, said its work levels were well above those at the same time last year because more companies were in distress due to the recession. Reporting its results for the year to April 30, the company said pre-tax profits rose 28pc to pounds 7.2m, on revenue 29pc higher at pounds 62.1m. The board proposed a final dividend of 1.7p a share, up from 1.5p. Ric Traynor, executive chairman, said: "The extent of business distress, the increasing volume of formal insolvency appointments and our increased capacity to assist troubled businesses, both in respect of their immediate needs and over the longer period of rehabilitation or administration, mean we are expecting to see our counter-cyclical work flow continue to grow this year and into the medium term.'' The company's insolvency business accounts for 80pc of revenue, but the rest of its business in tax and corporate finance was hit by the downturn, particularly by a lack of transactions in the first half.

13 games is the norm isn't it? Seriously I thought there were some signs of 'green shoots' after he took over last season which given the circumstances warrants him being given a chance -
Well its always been the 3rd as far as I am concerned cos I've been waiting for the Crawley Town fixtures (if only to see if they're playing Saints this season)! Must have been a typo
-
The Blue Square Premier fixtures are out on Friday - just a coincidence?

Other cities without a professional football club?

In retrospect I agree and for the record I also maintain that Chelmsford is a town -
Well if there's no Saints might be worth checking out a few Rymans League clubs because thats where AFC Saints are likely to be 2010/11 season - lets hope its doesn't come to that

Guildford is a city but Chelmsford isn't despite its team being called Chelmsford City -
Why Fry could make the Swiss could walk away
Horley CTFC Saint replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Sounds sensible - looks like the FL could be accused by the creditors of costing them money which would be interesting -
Thats now fast becoming a probability! Wonder how many points we'll be docked?!?
-
Because we wont have/cant agree a CVA as SLH with its debts is to be liquidated whilst the actively trading subsidiaries are acquired by the Pinnacle Consortium? If the above is correct then the FL will rule that the football club will have to take a further points penalty for failing to agree a CVA. Its a bit Irish but thats because officially the football club is not in administration although the FL don't of course accept this - it sees the club and SLH as symbiotic entities.

Feedback from 2 Billionaires about buying Saints...

....and the ones the have, have a pretty poor track record judging by the number of clubs alleged to be on the verge! -
Or Sixfields Stadium, Northampton maybe?

The official 'how long can it take to say nothing' thread

I've just bought the Official Tour de France Survival Pack -
60p you should have complained thats well below what the minimum wage you should have been on then - even in the third world area of Poopey
-
Sad to say almost certainly yes because if the club defaults on their salaries it is in breach of contract and the player becomes a free agent i.e. we don't get any tranfer fee for any player we are negotiating a sell on

Is Minus 25 points a possibility next season?
Horley CTFC Saint replied to dubai_phil's topic in The Saints
What happened about appealing the 10 point penalty was that just bravado or has it been done? -
The payers? That would be the fans then?!?
-
He's Waiting for Fry
-
Ahh, the Theatre of the Absurd
-
You're having a laugh - 50p in the £ is a very good offer if thats what it is and given the tax debt is significantly less than 50% of the debt I reckon they'll be outvoted in an CVA deal. Anyone know what the acceptance criteria is? (65% sticks in my mind for some reason)
-
Well it was mean't a bit tongue in cheek but since you make the comment Crawley Town went into CVA with assets of less than £700 and Mr Fry's firm finalised the agreement to take them out of CVA.......so there you go!
-
I guess that means the club is going into administration then! Wonder what the League would do if that happened?!?
