I'm with Whitey on this one

It runs deeper than that. The man defintely has attitude which rankles with many even though they don't know him or have never met him, think Trump, think Johnson, think Farage. By the same measure very few took a dislike to Ralph evn when things were going badly.

That's a quarter of the season gone Martin, how much longer is it going to take?

Get him in quick!

Surely you know how it works? It's like the press corps travelling with the PM to Samoa and sending news clips back to London of interviews with the PM on a sunny, sandy beach that could just as esily have been doen in London or through Face Time at home. It's a gravy train circus where everyone has a part to play in the performance and nobody rocks the boat.

Bloody hell, you are still an adolescent, get a grip!

There's quite a good selection in John Lewis.

Expect similar tactics to those used against Arsenal at the Emirates, nine men behind the ball and Archer isolated up front as a lone striker. The real qestion will be for how long we can hold out again before conceding. Arguably, those tactics fared well aginst the Gunners for a while and when we switched to attacking them and taking a shock lead it probably surprised Martin and his players as much as it did us. Inevitably a backs-to-the-wall approach has its limitations; players tire physically and concentration and discipline drop so holes appear all over the place with the inevitable consequences of the superior quality of the opposition leading to only one possible outcome. This is very likely to be a re-run of that match although whether we can actually score against City is open to doubt. I can't see past a 3-0 victory for the Sky Blues. Our best chance of preventing a rout is to shackle Harland but that's easier said than done. Over to you THB!

At least we don't have that problem any more. Unfortunately!

Corrected it for you. Never trust a bloke with a beard, what's he hiding or is he just too lazy to shave?

Perhaps the club thought at the time that Bednarek would not sign an extension?

Are we ready for Saturday's conundrum? If we win it will give Martin a stay of execution and delay his exit to the chagrin of many However, if we win we gain 3 points and the possibility that we may have turned a corner; a change of course then could be the worst possible thing to do? That's the conundrum folks. Enjoy your weekend.

Whatever his ambitions in the game, he also needs to temper them with a touch of realism and humility. Yesterday's announcement should help, not considered good enough for England!/ m I doubt he feels he is too good for Saints and no doubt will have done many cold, wet & dark nights up North with Brighton. If we make him a good enough offer he'll come but it will need to be 'good enough' and it will have to be 'soon enough' to give him a fighting chance of turning things around.

Nigel survived until mid-January - we stayed up.

It is foolish to imply that (Nathan) Jones and (Ruben) Selles were better managers than Martin? They were not.

Laws are for fools and the guidance of wise men.

A good level of debate and intellect on display here

Leicester have been a class above for the past few seasons and as far as one can tell still are this year. They will see this as one of their easier fixtures especially as they know exactly how to deal with Martin's style of play. I cannot see what has changed sufficiently since our last encounter to feel any optimism about this one. 0-2 or 0-3

It's hard to believe that SR will be content with another relegation and even harder for them to see any way back for Saints if they do go down. If these players cannot avoid relegation and the few good ones then jump ship, the rump will be even less able to challenge for promotion whatever reinforcements can be brought in to shore up the team. SR might very well have reasoned that swapping managers now and hoping for a dramatic turnaound in fortunes is far more risky than simply selling up while Saints are still a Premier League club, taking the hit associated with the future uncertainty of the club's status and leaving it to somebody else to clear up the mess. Lets face it, they will be very well aware that their manager recruitment track record here has been appalling so their appetite for another change could be low, whereas a new buyer (if one can be found) might have their own man lined up or strongly in mind so effectively can do their dirty work for them.

Gobbledegook! Where is the improvement in terms of results and points on the board if as you exclaim, he is learning?
