  1. It amazes me that he even gets a place on the bench. His inability to involve himself in games let alone make an effective contribution is astonishing for a professional footballer. Subs are supposed to make an immediate impact these days but this lad seems just to jog around and do his best to hide from the ball. He's probably going through mental hell trying to understand what is going wrong for him but that doesn't help us. In my mind the legend that was Ricky Lambert always pops up when making comparisons, he seemed to have the ball at his feet all the time which was no accident and as often as not banged it into the net with the same simple ease as Haaland.
  2. They can, why not? After all we scored -4 on Saturday.
  3. The big question for me is should I waste another £16 on a Sky one day sports membership pass to watch our lads run around like a load of headless chickens getting nowhere?
  4. Of couse it is! Strikers out of position, caught on their heels or panicking when the ball arrives is about mental attitude, as much the responsibility of Still as physical coaching. Where are the sports psychologists in his set-up if he doesn't understand the need??
  5. Do people like you not realise that after Tuesday's match, one quarter of this season will have passed us by always hoping for jam tomorrow.
  6. Remarkably we seem to have a few very talented young players in our squad. All we need now is a decent manager who can meld them together into a fluent team and start scoring goals. Today we saw several brilliant individual performances but no semblance of a plan or team understanding. Still has had long enough, let's not waste our talent on his ineptitude any longer.
  7. I am dreading it simply because nothing will have improved or changed for the better despite the break. It seems as if it is as it is and will be.
  8. Meanwhile Rome is burning to the ground.
  9. Once again demonstarting that he is clueless.

  11. Doubt it, half our lads have been away on ID
  12. Will Still will still be in charge and will shoehorn in Shoehorn so 1-2 to the Swans, Shoehorn scoring all three. What's the situation with Wellington, any hope of a return soon?
  13. Probably has been given an offer he couldn't refuse. Isn't everyone in it just for the money?
  14. He's good with his head and quite tall
  15. Would we even trust him to organise a piss up in a pub
  16. Success that can be remembered years into the future. Lots of managers have kept us up just about and we've been in Cup Finals since
  17. Sorry, I won't be changing my dental appointment
  18. He's just had a clear out and hand-picked new recruitment. To suggest he wasn't involved in these processes is baloney!
  19. Seems a lot of comfort is being drawn from kicking this can down the road. You and I are of one mind. Churchill used to stamp "Action this day" on stuff that he wanted done quickly.
  20. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce84w939l84o Proves that it can be done quickly and decisively without too much internal embarrassment? Get on with it!
  21. So you trust the coaches who left out Robinson in recent matches - arguably our most effective player in the early games of the season - to have the best interests of our youngsters in mind? Desperate!
  22. Also found some good managers over the years
  23. Desperate times call for desperate measures
  24. Other opinions are available. What is your yardstick? Did you see the Ipswich v Norwich match on TV? Every palyer on the field looked better than any we have. Even so, I'm 100% with you on Still's self evident limitations. Maybe he gets October from SR but it's only kicking the can down the road, if the outcome is obvious do it quickly and get it over with now. The guillotine or the rack?
  25. That's what worries many if not most of us.
