  1. Don't see why. Any port in a storm is safer than being all at sea.
  2. We simply aren't good enough or smart enough which is down to the players and the coaching staff. It will end in relegation one day.
  3. Pathetic. How old are you?
  4. The other 28,000 fans at SMS yesterday who don't agree with you are obviously wrong.
  5. On and on it goes.
  6. Idiot. Prowse screwed him and then put everyone onside.
  7. Ralph never makes wholesale changes so likely same team as Wednesday but Lyanco for Bednarek. No start for Broja. Not sure about Tella though because of that overstretch incident on Weds; if not fit enough to start expect Djenepo (for pace).
  8. Can't you read? It couldn't be more clear. Easier to snipe from the wings than come up with some thoughts of your own.
  9. Ralph's tenure here is probably inextricably tied to the Takeover situation; when the latter is resolved it is likely a resolution of the former will soon follow. New owners are likely to be far more ambitious than Gao and probably will view the last three years under this manager as little more than treading water. We must hope that a new manager coming in will be less in awe and thrall of the big clubs and to be part of the best league in the world. Before Ralph we never heard this kind of negativity around the camp. Why is it necessary for him and by association the Club to be so humble. Most fans have always believed that 'we were in it to win it' not just to make up the numbers and those magical four seasons under Poch & Koeman justified that optimism.
  10. It's been obvious to most for a couple of weeks or more and Blackmore asked Ralph point blank why he didn't give the lad a rest during the PC. Typically though Ralph can't see past his blinkers, the same blinkers that have kept Tella on the sidelines all season, McCarthy in goal for every match and Walcott in a starting XI. Those same blinkers will see Livramento at LB on Saturday even though he had a mare last night.
  11. There is no club that more flatters to deceive than the current Saints and it's been the same old story for three years. That so many on here are elated and grateful that we battled our way to "a stunning draw against Leicester" tells us all we need to know. We are not going forward, we are going going backwards, we are stuck in the middle. Seeing the same old patterns of play with the same old outcomes week after week is switching me off big time and my expectations - like no doubt many others - are now rock bottom. Individual errors again cost us the win last night it seems that our current crop of players are either incapable of understanding their own shortcomings and addressing them or they are so brain washed by 'the system' that they have stopped thinking for themselves altogether and play as automatons. A very unsatisfactory evening all round.
  12. Tosh! See what you want to see.
  13. Both games on Prime were appallingly low standard and dull last night. Hard to believe we are not a better team than any of those 4 teams. Let's hope tonight's offerings are a tad more entertaining. Cue for a 0-0 at SMS?
  14. ...and you get that back quickly in saved P & P charges. It's an absolute no brainer. There are more matches on over Christmas so very good value seeing as though you can watch your favourite team rather the boring old top six selection that Sky dishes out.
  15. Sadly, I agree with you only more likely 2-0 as our defence has lost its compactness lately with Livramento in particular being caught out of position too often. Just a reminder to everyone that we are being shown live on Amazon Prime tomorrow evening.
  16. Normally part of the U18 set up where he is scoring for fun, the lad has now had two or three outings with the B team and has scored on each appearance. The latest thrashing of high flying WBA suggest the Academy is upping the ante at last and who knows they may have found themselves a rising future star? Could he be in the first team squad next season, after all if our two As continue their recent scoring form then why not? Certainly one to keep an eye on. I haven't seen him play but presumably some of you have, what's the prognosis?
  17. Armstrong is a very limited player and what you see is all you are going to get but to be fair he was up against a world class defender yesterday who happens to be 2 feet taller than him with a stride and speed over the ground to match. That was never going to be a fair or equal contest.
  18. A morning for reflection. Many of you have missed the whole point of Ralph's team selection and set-up for this match. It is quite obvious that he set us up to stop Mane & Sala from scoring and he succeeded, they rarely had a sniff so what are you complaining about?
  19. No it's not! No KWP, Redmond or Armstrong for starters. 1-5 today in this weather
  20. Sounds depressingly familiar.
  21. You do write some disgusting garbage.
  22. Just watch your back.
  23. Can't read it as not a subscriber.
  24. It's a fair point and if there is a need then we should set one up. What 'though would be its mission and objectives? That's a rhetorical question of course but if such a body was to be established it would need a clear remit and a defined role within the Club's structure. At the moment there is no fan representation or voice on the Club Board but then again it is not a public company with no access to share participation. I think a group to represent fans is a better idea than a sole fan member on the Club Board for rather obvious reasons with the proviso that the group must be democratically chosen to represent the wide range of people and interests that support the Club. Jack and a few of his mates forming a group is certainly not the way forward. There may be a model on which to base it.
  25. Only because those blokes are multi millionaires as well.
