The "business model" surely is to keep the ball out of our net, Bazuna may be the answer but a few planks of wood nailed across the posts would do the trick as well.

Isn't that Dusan Tadic in the picture?
-
How long have you been a Saints supporter? We all know where this transfer window is heading. Just assume next season's team will look remarkably similar to last year's with the odd addition to the squad who will be described as "one for the future". Feb 12, 1980 seems an awful long time ago.
-
Why would we want the treacherous b****** back here, he's only interested in money and has zero interest in playing for Saints.
-
That was a bit weird especially when he said that JWP dictated the game. As the game was boring, slow and without excitement was Southgate in effect blaming JWP for that and the total lack of enterprise? At this level, JWP looks pedestrian and in my view inhibits the free flowing spontaneous football that we have seen on occasion from England over the last few years.
-
No thrust or drive from JWP just his usual backwards and sideways safety first passes. Disappointing performance. Risk averse midfield tonight left the strikers with nothing to work on. This generation of players may have peaked last year and now look match weary and bereft of ideas. Easy night for Italy who just sat back and played for a point. Ramsdale the best England player and looks decent.

Hopefully the appointment of Ruben Selles as the new lead first team coach will kick Hasenhüttl off the touchline and upstairs as DoF.

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25
Charlie Wayman replied to Over land and sea's topic in The Saints
Glad they have announced a massive clear-out so early. Well, Fraser is massive is he not. -
Oh dear! What a thoroughly depressing post. Cheer up for goodness sake Dusic. Remember the good ones not the bad - glass half full!
-
What can you do with any coloured shirts? One suspects that most clubs have run out of ideas on how to make their new shirts sufficiently different to last year's while sticking to their traditional colours.
-
Will always be the same old Saints, one or two out, one or two in. All the rest is puff.
-
When you gotta go, you gotta go! Always the foot soldiers never the sodding generals. Can't wait for the 23/24 season to start without the Austrian Flopp.
-
Ridiculous amount of money. Another silk purse that we will turn into a sow's ear.
-
Why bother then?

I was alluding to the players as well as RH, they don't deserve anything other than grinding training throughout the summer and frequent ice baths, certainly not all expenses paid jolly's to an exclusive 5+ star resort in the Alps.
-
100% with you. They can stuff their season tickets right up their padded seats. The OS has announced that the team are off to Austria for a cuddly jolly in the close season, which pretty much confirms that the Alpine Flopp will not be leaving. Do you not understand basic management Semmens? Are you living in a parallel universe? You reward people for success not for abject bloody failure. I never thought I'd call time on Saints but they've pushed me to the limit on this one. He stays, me goes!😡

I had hoped to read today that Hasenhüttl had been kicked out but as usual the spineless bunch of wimps who run the club have not had the guts to do it. Make no mistake about it this bunch of clueless clowns are taking us in only one direction. GET HIM OUT NOW!!!!

We should play in an all white kit, the classic sign of surrender.

U18 Premier League National Final: Saints 1-2 Man City
Charlie Wayman replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
A familiar story of not taking our chances when we had a period of dominance soon after half time. Cooler heads and we could even have won this. Maybe the kids were intimidated by the large crowd. On the whole though they acquitted themselves well.and at times played better football than the seniors. Two or three of these lads seem to have what it takes to make it through to the senior team. -
In fact business as usual. It ain't worked very well so far.
