Just sod off Ralph and take your clueless bunch of useless twats with you. I am sick of the aimless crap that your are serving up week after week. You should be ashamed. Relegation seem a certainty next season if we leave this bloke in charge
-
Every chance. Ralph will do his utmost to play KWP out of position.
-
As it's a "must win" game we'll lose about 3-0 but Ralph will still quack on about a top ten finish when in reality we are a 14th level team. Will Saints ever be reliable? Yes, in the sense that they will always be reliably unreliable. On the plus side, I am really looking forward to the kiddo's match at SMS tomorrow afternoon. Free ticket, sunny afternoon and passionate new stars to watch, what's not to like.

Depends upon his ambitions, there is nothing else for him here except a long service medal and an ornamental clock.
-
A very rich thick as bricks hod carrier though.

Voting now open, what do you think? Straight fight between Oriol Romeu and Kyle Walker-Peters or a three way tussle with JWP? Oriol Romeu for me!

Trouble with that is we are not having much success with Ralph's "playbook" anyway so sustaining that long term has no appeal whatsoever. Tell me what is worth keeping if he leaves?

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25
Charlie Wayman replied to Over land and sea's topic in The Saints
Tosh. He is proving every week that he is not a very good player and no better than any of the others. -
Why oh why do we find it so difficult to keep the ball out of our own net? Two or three major cock-ups in every match seems guaranteed. People seem to be on Bednarek's case every week but Salisu seriously worries me, when he drops one it is always a big time screw up leading to goals. Yesterday's hapless lunge about sums him up. He seems very hot headed under pressure and prone to panic. Not sure he is learning very quickly and is certainly not the rock on which a strong defence can be built.. I will be glad to see the back of this season and hopefully some of these players.

Times change, social mores change, you either change with them or become a relic of a past that was never as utopian as clouded minds recall.

Fair comment. Don't rule out the possibility that Ralph could get the boot at the end of the season. He is another who seems to have become too complacent about their position. The buck stops with him after all. Replying to John B (below), we have no choice but to buy better players if we want to stay in the PL and the money will have to be found. We have to face reality, the bigger clubs are setting the financial and quality pace and each year the bars for both are getting higher. Not all clubs are being left behind and are finding ways of hanging in there, e.g. West Ham, Leicester, Wolves and arguably they are not bigger clubs than us. We have to come up with the money somehow or we will go down sooner rather than later. Some fans argue "so be it", it is an unequal struggle and we are better off out of it, that they will be happier if we are in the Championship. Rest assured they will not be when those bad times come around. The PL has global reach everything else here is insignificant.

Criticism is fully deserved if you are open minded.

What a load of crap. Bloody insult to fans.

Fraser Forster - Official: Signs for Spurs
Charlie Wayman replied to stevy777_x's topic in The Saints
I still hold the view that it will be better for both parties if Fraser moves on in the close season. There is just too much baggage that comes with him with any new contract; one or two bad games and the Club will be under the cosh from fans for failing to take decisive action on the goalkeeping position when they had the chance to do so. We should stretch the coffers as far as possible on a proven young international keeper with many good years ahead of him and not just go for the easy out that could backfire. There must be some really decent keepers in Europe who would love to get a crack at he PL even with a middling table am like Saints. Niemi, Boruc some body at that level.... -
Lazy sod! 😉
-
Not really a win, more the avoidance of a defeat. 3 points though so good outcome. ...but for Fraser Forster!
-
Do we know how to do that?
-
That's the way to do it. Get stuck in, get rid of it, bang it upfield, great football as it used to be played.
-
Livramento was appallingly bad last week and will need to recover some form before he gets another game.

Hard to see any change in fortunes this weekend, last week's thrashing came at the wrong part of the season when everything is winding down and weariness may be setting in. There is little to play for, final position in the league table is important to the club of course but it seems to me that players are unlikely to respond to that as a motivational goal except maybe the captain but there's not that much he can do on his own. One suspects most players are now more concerned about their personal positions going into the summer break with next season and contracts in mind. Some will be moved on, others maybe will want to move on but many minds will be distracted. For these reasons, I am expecting more of the same with a little better organisation at the back, maybe Lyanco in for one of the other two CBs and Tina on the bench with Perraud coming in. Not enough to prevent a 0-3 drubbing though.

It may be time for a change. When we are good, we are not very good but when we are bad we are awful. The buck stops with Ralph, his playbook may well suit kids but PL football is an adult's game. It seems he is starting to believe his own bullish*t which is never a good sign.

Has there been a worse home performance in recent memory?

Riding bikes for Deliveroo -
He has no future at Saints as he is on the wrong side of 28 and has only one year left on his contract. The Club must be expecting to cash in on him this summer and it is almost certain there will be no new contract offer coming his way. His limitations are too well known to attract any PL club including the newly promoted ones. The Championship seems to be his destiny where he may be worth a punt for clubs looking to get promoted next year. The price for him will be £8-10m max.

Isn't he good at the guitar? Bound to get a new deal otherwise who else would entertain them at their Christmas Dinner. More than one string to his bow.

Give it a rest mate, pathetic!
