  1. The problem is that the sort of money being talked about as offers will leave us fit only to be a struggling Division 3 side, recovery from which will be a long drawn out affair lasting many years. Think in future of Exeter, Bristol Rovers or Brighton as our counterparts rather than Coventry, Spurs or Fulham
  2. Perhaps you didn't know that Football League rules require a team to field 11 players for the start of a match even in Division 3.
  3. You seem to have forgotten that Mr Fry has bosses who are pressurising him to come up with a solution, sooner rater than later, so 'extension of deadlines' and 'breakthrough' are the sort of socio-political gobble-de-gook that BIG suits like to hear to re-assure themselves that they are not actually bogged down in an impasse. If Mr Fry does not clinch a deal, I suspect his take home pay will be drasticaaly reduced later in the year. Just spare a thought for the poor luckless sod!
  4. On BBC News at lunchtime. No hope! theme.
  5. I've waited long enough for saints and Fry to sort themselves out; just heard today that I have qualified for a ST at Emirates so got to decide whether to send off my cheque over weekend. At least it's Premiership football and at least they've got Walcott and at least they play in red & white. Can't be in two places at once 'though so looks like Saints and me are all washed up. All those years down the drain and for what? It's their own fault, too many false dawns and broken promises.
  6. As I say every Friday.. "Maybe next week, Jack?" Call me a cynic or what. It ain't gonna happen, of course. Nothing good has been announced by this club for the past ten years now so don't expect change anytime soon. I'm waiting with more excitement to see the expense claims of our two adorable Labour MP's
  7. I'd like my chair moved closer to the railings please steward...
  8. A sad loss. Hope he will be remembered at the next home match with a one minute silence.
  9. Always knew he'd be the first target, the bloke is seriously good but Leicester, you gotta be kiddin'. he's good enough for Manure
  10. This is complete and utter ballocks and you know it is! Stop writing puerile fantasy nonsense and grow up. You make yourself look like an oversize Rrse'ole.
  11. "You Cannot be Serious!" Surely nobody is stupid enough to want to part with their money whilst teh club is teetering on the brink of bankruptcy? If you've that much dosh to sprinkle around why not give it to some well meaning cause instead of greedy bastards spoilt brat ball kickers.
  12. If you say so... Y_A_W_N!
  13. I wish he'd just close his big trap, pick up his bags and sod off back to geordie land for good.
  14. Sure Jack, maybe next week?
  15. Marc Anthony Jackson (born January 16, 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player.
  16. Good News, Ballocks! Who would have them other than idiots like us? I really wnat Euell the mule to EFF off?
  17. Nobody is listening Judas!
  18. Hey! Fair point but we need a fresh start do we not, not the same old, same old? None of the old palayers can improve on age grounds alone; let's face it they all looked ****ged out most of the last season and if the ball was more than 5 yards away the couldn't be Rrsed. Honestly I do not want to be in Division 4 in 2010/11.
  19. We got a mention on MotD last night which is worth staying up for. It seems there was genuine sorrow at our plight from Lee Dixon and Martin Keown who rightly asked "Where did ALL their transfer money go?" I think they liked playing us especially in the Cup Final and years ago many ex-Gooners payed for Saints, most recently dear old Charlie. Well Mr Lowe, what's the answer to that one?
  20. The 2008/9 Squad 1. Kelvin Davis - Please stay 2. Chris Perry - OK 3. Wayne Thomas - Still has 1 year left on his contract Oh! S**t 4. Marek Saganowski - Au Revoir 5. Jan Paul Saeijs - states he wants to stay Yes but get FIT! 6. Michael Svensson - Needs a chance to prove himself as a defensive coach 7. Rudi Skacel - Sorry to see him go but he gets badgered around so much, can't blame him 8. Bradley Wright-Phillips - Out of contract. Thank goodness we've seen the back of him. 9. Gzregorz Rasiak - 1 year left on Saints contract - WHO? 10. Paul Wotton - Still has 2 years left on his deal Oh! Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t. Pension him off! 11. Andrew Surman - A couple of Prem clubs rumoured to be interested. Pray they will. 12. Lee Holmes - Our own 'sicknote', what's the point when he can't stand up for more than five miutes 13. Bart Bialkowski - WHO? 14. Stern John - Prayers do work 15. Jason Euell - If we never hear from him again it'll be too soon. Lumbering, lazy sod! 16. Romain Gasmi - Au Revoir 17. David McGoldrick - What's he for? We haven't found out yet. 18. - 19. Morgan Schneiderlin - No chance he'll stay. Too good for us 20. Adam Lallana - Let's just hope they are not time wasters. He's done all he can for us which is the Square Root of F*** all! 21. Jamie Hatch - 22. Simon Gillett - The best of all and the one we are most likely to lose 23. Lloyd James - Another future proof gold plated investment but we'll lose him in January if not now. 24. Oliver Lancashire - Oh Well, we'll still need to field 11 if we survive long enough 25. - 26. Jake Thomson - Could be as good as Theo but somebody needs to tell him that
  21. Uh? Did we play today then? Y-a-w-n!
  22. This is another f*** up by the FL. Surely, it is far too late in the season for points to be deducted this season, they should start with -10 next year same as us. Those blokes in blazars make it up as they go along... FL headquarters is in Lancashire, Stockport is in.... ? You've guessed it Lancashire. Somehow this smells of rancid sh*t*. Another anti-Southern softies swipe by unregulated tin-pot dictators. Makes me want to puke!
  23. Probably guests of his old boy network pals at Forest. Lowe & Richards have zero standing vis-a-vis Southampton FC, which belongs now to the creditors interests managed by the Administrator.
  24. Bit premature matey! There has to be a football team to follow and stadium to sit in before season tickets can be thought about. Neither looks likely at the moment so talk of ST's is nonsense. You will not need ST's in the Wessex League or Blue Square.
  25. In the sense that Matt Le Tissier was one big trick, whereas McGoldrick is one big pr*ck?
