I can attest to his presence at every home game including the friendly v Ajax. I'll bet that's more than most Witch-finders on here

Pardew recognises that Waigo must be nurtured and blooded carefully into this team and this type of football. 20 mins is good for now it will probably be 30 at Brunton Park as long as we are not chasing the game. If we're 3-0 down don't expect to see him. As for him being offside, don't forget he is up against lumbering defences and third rate officials where his speed of thought, reaction and pace are way beyond what these clowns are used to. He'll always look offside to these plodders 'cos they'll only see his movement when he is 5 yards past the back four. If the liney isn't actually capable of looking in two places at once, i.e., when the ball is last kicked and where Waigo was standing at the time, then our man will have no chance as the clowns will err on the side of safety and flag anyway. Pardew has to wise him up to this and tell him how to get away with it, like run diagonally rather than straight and do something overt that attracts liney's attention in the build up.

Third highest attendance in Division 3 on Saturday and only 4 larger crowds in Division 2. Norwich did better 'though, they really do have great supporters.
-
Saganowski should switch to the high-board in time for 2012, as for the second James clearly fouled their player which led to the Green guy being off balance and stumbling into the ball. Liney called it right but incredibly the ref over-ruled him. Good that St Dunstan's are supplying refs to the Football league these days

A win Jim but not as we used to know it. Yet another load of sheep's ballacks served up as prime steak, no wonder people were streaming out before the end even from the Northam. Another 94 minutes of talentless, unimaginative plodding. Good job we had a friendly referee, otherwise we would be playing still next Thursday before we scored a goal. Ratings: Davies 6 - B all to do Thomas 4 - at least he's reliably crap on the ball (Wotton 78) 5 - oh well! Jaidi 8 - that's more like it, solid as a rock Trotman 5 - lacked confidence and imagination on the ball but a half decent stopper Harding 8 - good performance for 94 minutes Lallana 4 - why oh why do we put up with this lazy, half-hearted idiot? Hammond 8 - good performance although ****ged later MoTM? Schneiderlin 7 - good on the ball, great positioning; made some great tackles and passes (Mills 71) 5 - lost in translation James 5 - has had better days, his final ball is beginning to look embarrassing Lambert 7 - tried really hard to hold up the ball and bring others in but never near scoring from open play. Still, he shot them dead, bang! bang! Saganowski 4 - not so much effort put in as in recent matches. Strange how he plays better when coming on later rather than starting? (N'diaye 71) 6 - looks to have some magical flair, fast with fast feet and a wicked shot or two
-
Frankly, it doesn't seem even remotely possible to avoid relegation on performances we've seen so far. If we do it'll be by a point or two on the last day, which would be yet another but not-so-very-great escape.
-
That's where you've been too gullible my friend. Who said we had a "great squad" other than people like Pardew who brought in a load of nonentities and got rid of what little talent we had left? Smell the coffee, we have now an overage, under-skilled set of plodders and rejects from other more ambitious clubs who are probably rejoicing in having been able to offload these people from their payrolls.

Depressing familiarity about failure. Just like Burley... say no more! Division 4 is a place we have never been to before in our history and yet it and all it's horrors loom ever more ominously, how much worse can this get? Just glad I didn't bother to go up on Saturday, somehow you just knew it would be 0-0.
-
B*gg*r that! I'm not going up on Saturday for one to watch a donkey effing derby!

Not all change is Good as we will all come to realise in January
-
This is why I can be so negative about Saints. Another brilliant prospect buried by managerial prejudice. No doubt we'll regret it in six months when he's playing for England.
-
Unfortunately, they all get away! I wonder why we bother with the Academy as the succession of idiots that mange our so-called firts team squad always seem to look elsewhere. It is like any other business really, companies always believe that new recruits are always going to be better than promoting people from inside; external consultants are always better informed than internal specialsts and so on. Amazing really that management not only supports this crass nonsense but actually believe it to be true. On the other hand my old grandmother oft used to say "Better the devil you know than the one you don't!" Then again, my old grandmother would have made a much better fist of running a Third Division football club than the bunch of comedians in charge of Saints right now
-
Very neatly put... Not winning ever is of course a trait we brought with us from the Prem. Did you realise we have had less wins over the last four years than any other club in the FL
-
For sure, I won't be surprised. Who will come here now that the French Boss has said publicly that France will not consider L1 players for national teams. If not France then certainly not Eng-er-land. I'm afraid it's make do and mend time all over again. Promises, promises as always. We must be the biggest mugs on earth to keep swallowing all the bullshype that comes out of St Mary's. Let's face it we may be solvent but we ain't got the mullah to buy anybody worth having and if £1m is what it takes to get a donkey like Lambert, who we good afford anyway?
-
Saints have always been a sporting team which means you accept the ref's decisions whether you like them or not. In any case it always works out 50/50 by the end of the season. It is ridiculous to remonstrate with officials as it only leads to trouble with the FL and never ever results in any change of heart or results. Not only Pardew had a go but that moron bloke who assists him was given it gab and guess what, following the boss's lead, in steps our new thick-as-s*** wally, Hammond. Is this what we are to become? If ever you wanted evidence that things ain't working out the way Pardew expected, this shows it more than anything. Match 5 and he's losing it and blaming others... Oh S***, oh S***, oh S*** we are really in trouble. Mr Cool??? More like Mr Fool!
-
Surprise, surprise! Let's face it we just ain't good enough. Pardew has brought in a load of one dimensional tat with Eff all skill and this is the effing result. We can't even beat a load of sh*t* like Stockport who are in Administration. If Lallana and schneiderlan Eff Off we are stuffed! We are in Effing trouble, we are Relegation candidates now for sure. Pardew has had long enough to show what he can do and he can't direct games, change tactics or win matches. Let's see that's Eff all wins out of five and a points take of 0.6 per game or 27 for the season. Time for Pardew to pack his kit before we become the laughing stock of this Effin Division as well. Yep! I'm the first to say it we're down all bar the effing shouting.
-
Are you surprised? After all, the clue is in the title "Taking the ****"! You can guarantee that Le Tissier has his own anti-Southampton agenda especially NOW and will not spare the bile. Is is true 'though? That's waht you have to ask yourself. Of course not, it'll be bull**** from front to back. Can't really believe anybody has bought such a travesty of literature as a footballers memories. I mean, do they have any after 3.2 second? He's a footballer for goodness sake not Winston S Churchill or Ike D Eisenhower so how can it be interesting unless you like reading endlessly about idiots getting ****ed.
-
I am amazed just how many tits are twittering on this thread. Must be time for migration?
-
In fact that is incorrect. Thomas a Wreckit made a woefully short panic pass to the midfield when there was no Saints player anywhere near. Simon Gillett tried to get to the ball but couldn't get hold of it and it was lsot to Brum. Thomas was the culprit. Next time you watch I suggest you pay more attention to detail and see CAUSES and not SYMPTOMS.
-
Well, you certainly aren't going to win any popularity contests after spouting that load of old bilge. I am hesitant of the need to offer any sort of defence of the boy because that would stoop to dignify the utter garbage that you have written.
-
Whether you're right or wrong Nick it doesn't matter a **** to us, once he's gone he's gone, we move on, job done. Where he goes, nobody knows What colour he wears, nobody cares Will he be a Hit? Who gives a s***! Do we give a t*** about Rasiak after Southampton? Do we b*******!
-
It was my understanding that ex-directors were now entitled to seats in the 'royal-box' so they don't need boxes of their own to sit in and not be seen. In any case they are no longer potential buyers so have nobody to impress or try to bring on board. Nor do Saints particularly need their money desperately. So many logical reasons for them to let the boxes go.
-
PS I meant Lambert was lazy not Harding as in my review above
-
Difficult game to read as Birmingham didn't turn up for the first half so we could play passy-passy all evening without much fear of losing the ball even if we didn't quite know what to do with it when we had it. As usual 'though lots of hustle and bustle about Saints play without much end product. Harding was like a statue all night, why is he so effing lazy. I thought he should have been taken off before half-time but Paterson is no good anyway so I suppose AP knew we had nobody better to bring on. Saga was immense and deserved a goal and yes, the cynics will say he played for a transfer but if he stays and shows this form surely goals will come from him. Overall as one who did bother to turn up! Davies 7 Solid rather than spectacular Murty 9 Held it all together. Disaster for Saints when he was carried off. 90% of the team! Thomas 5 Give me strength! Perry 7 Never gives up Harding 8 Great going forward and linking with James and Lallana James 7 In and out. Good at wing-half. Lost at right-back Wotton 6 OK for 25 minutes then increasigly erratic Mellis 7 Good touches early on but faded Lallana 9 For once lived up to the hype, at last! Superb goal. Saga 8 Never stopped trying and looked class against this level of opposition Lambert 6 £1m quid? For what? Clueless and out of his depth against this defence; so lazy it can't be true. Boot up the Jacksie needed AP!

Makes a change for The Mail to say something positive about us, even mentioned Redknapp's failure to stop us dropping out of The Prem. Now that is progress
