  1. They've got Brett Ormerod! Sh*t!
  2. Very disappointing but at least it's at home again! There was a time 3/4 years ago when I wouldn't have got out of bed to watch a team called Blackpool now they're two leagues better than us so some might regard this is as a dream tie. Me? I can't be Rrsed to get out of bed to watch a bunch of Belicia beacons running about with a donkey in tow. Ah well, we were never going to win it anyway.
  3. Well i don't agree with you and IMHO your views are grossly unfair. You don't get to play for France U21 without prodigious gifts. Maybe it would be more balanced had you suggested that crap kick-and-rush, up-and-under, long ball, head it anywhere, third division crap is far too basic for the sort of imaginative football he will have been schooled on. If Saints cannot utilise his obvious gifts as promotion pretenders then they are nowhere near ready enough to step up to the plate. Only Saints would cast aside one of its most valuable footballing assets; let's be honest he will go in January 'cos he must be effed off by now. As for fans against Schneiderlin, "there are none so blind that have no wish to see!"
  4. My bet is that Oldham will win this league, they have been by far the best team to come to SMS this season. OK we won 2-0 but anybody who went will remember what a superb game it was. Thought then they'd match us step-by-step all the way and guess who's still one place below us. Probably we'll be second as otherwise Adders gets it - his P45 - and this is not a good time to become unemployed.
  5. Slow day? Do we really want to be third best in this crappy league? Not a good way of getting promoted and hoping to stay up
  6. You've got it about right, 6/10 but way below what was expected after last year's run-in. I am giving the benefit of any doubt to Adders that he will spring a surprise or two with imaginative signings in January - a creative midfielder and a creative striker in the Lallana mould. Failing that then we are not going up despite all the hyperbole coming from upon high. Automatic promotion must have been written into his JD as the reason his job existing. It is now clear that Pardew got the transfer kitty he wanted last year obviously underwritten by a guarantee that he would gain us promotion last year so we know how the Corteses end-game works - it's called give a bloke enough rope.... Thus, Adders will get his piece of silver but sure as hell, Cortese will want his pot of gold for it!
  7. There, thought I'd clear that up for you and them... and PS Poyet and his cronies are a bunch of miserable whingeing gits for trying to get Schneiderlin sent off. If that's football South American & Chelsea style than EFF off to thenm all. I'm glad we are red-blooded Saints!
  8. He is one effing useless apology for a second rate journeyman in my opinion, my heart sank when he came on last night and Barnard went off, then you just knew the game was up. here's a conundrum for Adders "How do you drop a gooley when you don't drop Guly?"
  9. Whatever turns you on mate. Refs always get the blame for other people's troubles but Saints were pretty guilty most of the time things went against them last night; just because we couldn't score and never looked like scoring doesn't make the ref a wonker!
  10. The last thing you should do on here my friends is to get sucked into nonsensica discourse about two of our players perpetrated by t.ssless w.nkers from somewhere East of Skatetown reknowned for only one thing, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Don't legitimise their commenst by debating their points, as Adders might say "get 'em to play our way!". Small town prats!
  11. See, I may not be much good at forecasting scores but weather (?) now that's different.. Mind you its still friggin parkey out here in the sticks
  12. It ain't about potential, it's about 'get real now' and Barney is way better than the Gooley droper by any measure of striker effectiveness.
  13. Usual load of BBC forecasting ********. It'll be about the same as today +8C no worries. T-shirts should be OK.
  14. You just know we are going to end up being disappointed, gnashing our teeth and spitting blood but bring it on! Can't wait to get at 'em.
  15. Give Holmes a start, even if he gets injured we can bring on Chamberlain but the other way round we loose them both, Guly droopes a gooley yesterday alright whereas Lambo played his part as a holding whatever so keep Lambo in with Barney at least for starters. Davies could face a very busy evening so too hot a kitchen for a young Pole
  16. Gus Poyet linked to Chelsea.. understudy / next up in place of Ancelotti? Great news, will unsettle them more than a bit i hope
  17. Wish it was so easy. We'll lose them both of course, 0-2 today and 2-3 on Tuesday. If I'm right it'll prove only that a lot of people on here are still living in cloud cuckoo land. If I'm wrong, what do I know!
  18. No sure you've been watching very attentively. How has he improved them? We're not even playing good football anymore just long ball up-and-under. To make matters worse his latest nonsense on the OS about relying on youngsters suggests he knows there won't be any money available in January, a sure sign Mr Cortese is getting impatient with him. If you think he's got it right then you must be in a majority of ONE. Plenty of mumblings and grumblings around the Itchen that's for sure and they can't all be wrong can they?
  19. Hey! I love it, you have a great memory. Let's be realistic 'though Alan Pardew gave him a team on a plate so he could hardly fail to get good results early on. Now he's tinkering it's all beginning to fall apart and Puncheon's departure as well as being totally unexpected is also a signal that all is not well behind the scenes. ...and what happened to the one-touch pass and move football we were promised? France demonstrated how to do it with style on Wednesday; you probably noticed that there were 3 gooners on one side and 2 on the other by the way ;-)
  20. Everyone has an agenda so what's yours? I have no reason to write to him
  21. Adkins is living up to my expectations, absolutely. I expected him to be a poor imitation of the subject of all the hyperbole and bull**** that surrounded his appointment as a "top notch English manager capable of taking our club into a new era (sic)", or transcribed into everyday speak - 'he was the cheapest we could get'. So far what has he done to dispel my beliefs?
  22. So what we really should do know is start a "Who's going out the revolving door in January?" I can't 'cos I'm a miserly sod who doesn't put a £5 in the kitty 2-1, Dixon will be the first out, Barnard 11-2 in second place, Butterfield third at 7-1
  23. Torres?
  24. Now the whole world is watching him. Let's hope he is really crap.
