  1. This case must pivot on very fine points of law and most of us should just take note of the outcome and comment no further on the specifics. In most cases laws are there to help protect society whether it be an individual or a group such as a corporation. Everyone has the right to try and protect their own fair interests including Sky.
  2. Let's get to the point, the PA system at SMS has been a frigging' disaster from day 1 and nobody has been able to sort it out, assuming of course that the technical people are taking on board all our feedback criticism that it is crap and trying to fix it. On the other hand, knowing what an arrogant opinionated lot technical people can be, it is unlikely they have been listening as no doubt they think the PA has been the doggies bollockies ever since they first tested it in an empty quiet stadium back in 2001. Those people upstairs who permanently wear ear-plugs to tune out the noise of fans are unlikely to have noticed anyway. My advice to somebody up there is pull the effing stadium down and start again
  3. ....and....and...???? Credit to Everyone Nigel includes all those long, long suffering, ever stumping up, ever SKINT fans, ever lip-biting, sofa hiding fans who turn out through the many bad times as well as the few good, the many dreary wet days as well as the odd balmy sunny October freak, the effing freezing Tuesday evenings at Trentham Park and Selhurst, when this wonder team play F awful football as well as the silky smooth stuff of your pipe-dreams etc, etc, so everyone does include the fans the sweetest and the most obnoxious......... NEVER EVER forget your fans Nigel, aren't WE are all in this together mate? Still GREAT CREDIT TO YOU for having the nerve to utter such scarcely believable mirth-making bull**** as what follows on air. " "Good players and good staff, it's as simple as that. "We've got very good players, but it's not about individuals it's about the team. "We've got a good team ethic here and the players work very, very hard and that's put on by the superb support staff - Andy Crosby and Dean Wilkins they put great training sessions on and Nick Harvey from a fitness point of view has been outstanding then there's the medical staff with Matt Radcliffe".
  4. Credit to the lads, they got hold of the football in the second half and passed it around to their own team mates this time and let's be fair credit to Watford for giving away 4 daft goals but what can you say, that's football in a match they could have one...
  5. Sounds of deflating and bursting bubbles. Bet there a re a few very depressed souls on here this week.. Clearly it didn't go to plan, why would it? Plenty of NPL managers are far from being idiots; if Adders can change tactics to deal with how the Oppos play of the day so can they. Sat is a big test now, screw that up and it'll be 1 from 9 with huge impact on team morale
  6. WTF is Stelling?
  7. What a moronic thread this is, glad I've been away awhile - but then I've never asked for or expected any freebies from the club. NC is a man of vision and principle and it's damn good that at at last we have such a person at the top. Best if you all ignore all those jealous loose mouths of the media.
  8. Not of the 69 variety but in the 60's when Terry Paine and Co took us for the first time into Division 1 most of us spent weeks wetting ourselves with sheer delight and that was a really warm feeling!
  9. Well done to all those people who came along, what a great game of football even with our reserves. I have more admiration than ever for Adders after Brown's irritating effing barking all night long aided by his witless assistant. I'd have thought if they'd done their job right on the training ground there would have been no need to constantly shout at players on the pitch, poor sods must have been really ****ed off. I much preferred the quiet approach of Adders, hardly needed to say anything and when he did it was "Adam" or "Morgan" not "OI! Mellor get up the effing field" 2-1 was not the right scoreline for all our dominance that's the only grumble. Morgan was magic and gives Adders a real headache, how do you fit them all in? Ben Reeves looks like the real deal, maybe not as instinctively gifted as that little Gooner turd but definitely better than some on there last night.
  10. A truly lovely lad who is really up for it. Could be a great signing in January if those celtic bastards don't try to screw us but knowing our cousins from North of the Border they'll do their best to soak us dry, the bastards!
  11. You must have seen all the matches to have remembered that season so well..... Where were you standing, I was up at the Milton end?
  12. Always said he was a disloyal greedy little bugger. Glad he's gone we just don't need his type around here.
  13. What a load of bull**** this is. Your observations are based on what exactly? have you ever met or even spoken to the guy? What's your effing agenda then? Tit!
  14. To answer your question... Yes by a country mile, Connolly is class, Phillis is an ass
  15. Don't forget they include in totals all STs sold so they would have counted me as being there even 'though I couldn't attend this week. That happens regularly in our part of the Itchen with guys on work related duties and so on often missing games. Would account for a few hundred and empty seats are very obvious because of their red coloration. But other people are right, times are really hard for folk; if you're trading down at Tesco's to the 'Value" line you're hardly be able to afford the luxury of flashing £25 on a ticket up at SMS. This new age of financial realism is going to be nasty and last a long time for a lot of people so football WILL suffer for sure and about bloody time it did many will say. Time for all those guys who've made millions out of the game to put some back in and help the poor bloody fans by cutting prices. It is time to remember that this is a community sport founded in the working class areas of our old cities. Loose sight of that and ignore those roots and fans and you'll be in trouble. 22000 in our situation signals big trouble brewing so action is needed now.
  16. "I don't read newspapers"... "we'll take a look at that in the morning"... "the league that matters is the league in January".... "Oh!Really.. my 100th win in football... I didn't know that..." Come orf it Nigel, superb manager you may well be but ace bull****ter you most certainly are not! Go on man, let your hair down, have a right old ****-up to celebrate... THEN get on with the task of winning the next game of football. Me? Ecstatic.. Top of the League? Yes, really! No laughing matter.
  17. This. They won't hack it for long and will soon be drifting down to mid-table. Middlesborough and Leicester look favourites at the moment and Forest aren't that far away either.
  18. That's not fair, just tell us all this stuff rather than tease.
  19. Yes, of course just go to the shop.
  20. Either he's out of his depth at this level, is injured or he's sulking 'cos Richardson gets the nod. Trouble is none of them are really good enough for a top side in this league and Jack is woeful at full back, we missed a big chance over the summer. Try Fox over there and keep Harding in. Absolutely we should offer at least £4million for Gunter he is absolutely fabulous, if he's good enough to mark Wooney out of a ganme he's probably good enough for Saints - what d'you think Nigel?
  21. I'm not as agile as you so have to wait it out whilst the laggards do their "after you old chap" routine until 5.30. I get really wound up about this especially as Health & Safety require the stadium to be cleared of people within 2 minutes in th event of an emergency - what a joke that is - but so is wasting time on here discussing what the owners might or might not do in goodness knows how many years ahead when-if we ever reach the PL. Your thread is far more relevant.
  22. Always said Lambert couldn't make it at this level, should have had five... ;-) Rickie for England, Wooney who?
  23. This! very unimaginative, **** poor passing, too many long balls and caught flat and way out of position far too often so - Derbyshire gave him the run-around and more or less was responsible for both their goals. Harding is better than this by miles. I', tempted to say another graet signing by our scouting team in the footsteps of N'Guessan, Forte, Stephens. They sure know how to pick 'em!
  24. Wonderful win, tough at times, thoroughly outplayed at others but they stuck at it and ground out a result. Good work lads and Adders
