In any case, Saints will likely match most offers on salary in the new climate of cost controls on clubs. I have an extraordinary respect for Steve Bruce who is one of the most perceptive and honest managers in the premier league. Should the day come when we lose our beloved Mauricio, Steve Bruce would be a very good candidate to replace him.
