  1. Bowllocks to Deschamps. Morgan not going to Brazil is a scandal. Best players on show? My Rrse! One of us really. Why not select him for England?
  2. Clyne? What ya taking about? Do you ever watch the Saints or do you make it up on your Tapatalk (? WTFIT?) CHAMBERS
  3. I think it will happen naturally. The family will want their own man in sooner or later. My bet is this summer and Poch is serving out his notice.
  4. Fonte made several schoolboy errors today and gave away a pen and almost another goal. Getting old and slow? Lovren needs a couple of matches to get back to fitness.
  5. I agree, there was no movement at all on the bench until the 70th minute when it was far too late. MP is probably serving out his notice after the recent announcements. Unusually poor performance from Shaw, did pressure of having to impress Hodgson get to him. Chambers incredible, could he be better than Shaw even? Our MotM by a country mile. Morgan good until knackered and Corkie.
  6. One point will stop the rot! Safety almost...
  7. Do we ever play well in the evening. They'll want to get even for Anfield and SMS last year. 0-2 best guess. Going to be freezing and wet as well so not a great evening to be outdoors.
  8. You complain of speculative waffle and then make a comment that is not only ridiculously speculative but also personally libellous. Take care my friend of what you write, there are plenty of lawyers reading the internet these days.
  9. So if the reported interview in the Mail is 'on message', we should expect to see Pochettino out the door in June. Maybe that's already decided and known within club circles and Pochettino has agreed to see the season out for a big fat pay-off.
  10. Look fellas, we are a Swiss team, right? Switzerland play in all red, right? Next year's shirt will look exactly like this year's shirt. A return to stripes will never happen under this regime and things might get distinctly worse if we sell to a company with Blue as a corporate colour! Poor old Cardiff could become poor old Southampton
  11. He seems to have lost a bit of pace and confidence and has got caught too far forward, too many times of late. It seems Callum is preferred because he's a big lad and has physical presence whereas Clyne needs to win the ball with his feet in every tackle.
  12. Disgraceful defending and ineffective attacking, great recipe for success. We should patent it.
  13. They would but it will not happen. PSG are doing rather well under their present manager or hadn't you noticed MP is unproven at PL level let alone CL. He has a long way to go yet before being considered for a top job in Europe, that's why he's here; this project must succeed to even get him a bigger club in England. He will still be here next season unless sacked and if things don't get better next year he'll probably get the big heave-ho anyway and then nobody will care a toss.
  14. We seem to be in transition again with players coming back so likelihood Pochettino will drop Cork, Lambert and Yoshida to the bench again and rely on the centre backs and defensive midfielders to get their acts together. For some reason he never seems to keep a winning team? So there will be spaces through rusty performance and lack of understanding and with Shaw and Clyne up and down a bit of late it might be asking too much to keep a clean sheet. Can we score, not so sure? 2-0 to the Hammers is what I think will happen.
  15. Time to smell the coffee. If it hadn't been for Marcus Liebherr and his mega millions there would be no club and no fans so saying that the club is no longer run for fans is idiotic.
  16. I love Jos, he must be worth his weight in gold in the dressing room, keeping spirits up and most importantly helping keep the young lads' feet on the ground. He did a good job yesterday and the goal was not his fault. People like you OP should get off his back and stop writing utter bilge like this thread title.
  17. Simply unbelievable Jeff! Utter mind blowing tosh in fact.
  18. What utter mind bending tosh. Surely you've got better things to do on a fine sunny Sunday than navel gazing.
  19. What has happened to James Ward-Prowse? Future England captain, transfer target and automatic first pick at season start to hesitant, ineffective and feeble mid-fielder in less than a quarter of a season. Something not right there at all. Is competition and national recognition of Shaw and Chambers phasing him and affecting his game? I hope the coaches cam sort him out as would hate to see him end up as an also-ran and being farmed out to Chesterfield on loan. Going the way of Simon Gilett?
  20. So what's the point of travelling all the way up North to not even try to win. All the ball sheet about how important the Cup is to us, pathetic. Pity the 850 poor sods who spent half a day overcoming atrocious weather conditions to get there and wasting their time and money. Low point of the Season so far. Ricky deserves to be shot on this performance. Just blown any chance he had of making it to Brazil. Who decided Guly should play, what a cock-up of a decision that was.
  21. It doesn't follow at all, Leighton Baines stayed at Everton. If Luke is capped and being recognised, playing PL football every week and is part of a tight knit successful side in the top eight why would he want to move on. Not everyone is motivated by greed and easy money like Chamberlain, although we can thank his domineering and self seeking Dad for that. In any case, Saints will likely match most offers on salary in the new climate of cost controls on clubs. Of course if somebody like Real Madrid came in with an £80m offer as they did for our former Academy left back.... but it seems unlikely at least until the lad would be about 23/24 and fully mature as a player.
  22. I have an extraordinary respect for Steve Bruce who is one of the most perceptive and honest managers in the premier league. Should the day come when we lose our beloved Mauricio, Steve Bruce would be a very good candidate to replace him.
  23. Clyne creates more when given free rein but he's lost a lot of match time this year and isn't quite as well tuned as last year.
