  1. Good effing riddance you useless whinger. So we're no longer good enough for you? Well, you may be in a for a nasty surprise sonny jim when they put you on the bench. They won't tolerate blokes running around like a headless chicken for 60 mins before asking to be subbed 'cos your knackered. I blame the facial hair, seems to unbalance the mind.
  2. I doubt many if any agree with you. Tika-taka is a difficult skill that only a very few teams master and invariably they are successful. We were successful last year in the sense of our best ever PL finish and points tally. Dull and tedious? You must be easily bored. No doubt you would have approved of Allardyce as our new coach with his exciting blend of hoofball and unarmed physical combat?
  3. Absolutely right! A plague on all their households. Why single out Lambert 'though he's just as much a treacherous b'stard as the rest of them. Sod the fans who stuck with them in League 1 and the NPC.
  4. I blame Pochettino for this whole Effing mess. By continuously talking up their skills to some of our players he has made them self obsessed, big headed, arrogant and greedy. No wonder they all believe it is now beneath their dignity to play for a small provincial club and will probably be in permanent denial about us from now on. Then to cap it all, the miserable Argentinian git is the first of the Rats to bu.g.ger off and jump ship, probably in the knowledge that he had successfully sowed the seeds of discontent so that nobody could inherit HIS team and do a better job than him with the same player. Now we will never know. Everyone blamed Cortese for the sh.it stirring in the press but I wonder? Of course we've all been suckered too by trusting a bloke with a perma tan and an easy smile for all and sundry, we should have known better.
  5. Always look on the bright side, we still have Jolly old Jos Hooiveld to cheer us up of a Saturday afternoon; at least he is one step ahead of the pack in learning Dutch, now that's what I call being 'smart'!
  6. If the idea was to sign a 'Name' as new manager to deter departures and restore a sense of vision and harmony to the club then clearly it ain't worked, the wanna ways clearly do not regard Koeman as a big enough "Name" to keep them here. His first step next Tuesday when players report back for training is to have a Roll call. Boruc? Here Sir Shaw? Shaw! Louvren? Louvren! Schneiderlin? Schneiderin! Lallana? Lallana! Lambert? Lambert! Rodrigues? Rodrigues! We think he is still in re-hab boss. Guly? WTYF is Guly when you need him Cork? Cork! Er, we forgot to renew his contract boss....
  7. A truly sublime performance, the artistry of the man is simply breathtaking. As the match progressed more and more you could see other players confidence in him growing by the minute; towards the end he was literally the hub of everything that Les Bleus were doing. Surely he must figure in team selection for the knock-out stages. We must hope for at least one more season from a committed Morgan Schneiderlin who isn't staying here against his will as one senses some other players might be forced to do. The great thing about him is his modesty, no false badge kissing shenanigans from the gentleman.
  8. Of all the players linked with moves away from St Mary's, Morgan Schneiderlin is the one we can ill afford to lose. The others are replaceable but not alas Morgan who has a special quality that eludes most professionals. We really should make him team Captain whether Lallana stays or not. Cannot the songsmiths amongst us come up with a chanson en Francais to make him feel he really belongs here, after all wasn't it the Wigan fans who sang to us last year as a welcome back to the PL "You're so Southern you're almost French!" "Sur la pont d'Itchen....
  9. Please tell me I didn't read that... I don't believe it... If you're going to use cliches for pity's sake don't mimic Alan Bloody Thicko Shearer! Who in hell's name ever uses a locker these days?
  10. You don't know that, FIFA may decide to ban him outright for three years. Anyway he won't be at Liverpool next year after this latest outrage, I just can't see the Liverpool owners wanting that sort of publicity around their club especially now that they are back in the CL. He might even be in jail for GBH if the Italian defender decides to take legal action.
  11. Perfect replacement for Baines, can't defend, poor positional discipline and clueless long balls into nowhere.
  12. How difficult is it to learn the simple words of our anthem? I mean, come on, they all know they have to sing it before every international footie match so why after all these years is Joe Hart the only one with a brain big enough to remember the words? Maybe it's time we picked a few more ball kickers on the basis of their IQ rather than their 0 to 30 times... We are Ingerland, we are as thick as a plank!
  13. They probably have specific lessons at St George's teaching them to sing the national anthem but the poor dears can't remember the words after two days, come to think about it just like they forget their football tactics lessons two days later. Doh! They are not rocket scientists that's for sure. Most other countries make a decent fist of their anthems so it must be the England players, cr.ap at everything. Do they ever remember anything they're asked to do or are they just thick as planks? Don't you just love the italian anthem...
  14. Just when you think things cannot get worse wit England invariably of course they do. Still the lads had a lovely holiday in Brazil which is about as much as most of them seem to go out there for. There are no penalties for failure at international level so the WGAF attitude amongst this lot will continue to prevail. No longer is it worth arguing about detail there is something rotten about English football which we seem incapable of understanding let alone correcting. E can have no confidence at all that a so-called root and brach overall of the whole FA shebang would come up with anything better. Especially as Spain are also showing signs of turning up only to sign on. Methinks international football is dead in the water, now replaced by the true internationalism of the European Cup & Top European Leagues teams. Good job for Eufa quotas otherwise all the top PL teams would be devoid of England players. Don't fret if you'd rather watch Chile & Mexico you soon will be as a team near you.
  15. Obviously you have no idea of the role of a chairman.
  16. Who ever talks about Chairman once the season has started? I just hope this is all hot air and nonsense because he seems to me to be the right person for this club.
  17. I know this is controversial but I have never rated Adam Lallana. Having watched him endlessly through the years dilly dallying on the ball and losing it time after time through trying to be too clever and tying himself up in knots when the simple things would have been more productive, this season seems to have been an anomaly. Even then he only scored a few goals, many that he should have scored he completely screwed up. If he goes it will be a loss but not as great a loss as say Scousers losing Suarez. I'll miss Lambert more. Selling Left Backs is what we do, it is part of our business model....
  18. Strange decision especially with new management in place and Reed's assertion that they would be involved in all player matters - so why not this one? Methinks something is not fully joined up here still or somebody speaky with forked tongue? Good luck to the lad anyway and it's up to him now to justify the confidence placed in him but these long contracts are becoming a bit farcical in the light of Shaw's likely defection unless we get £10m for every year of a contract. If so, we can get £40m for McQueen right now from the Scousers. Money in the bank!
  19. After last night's superb display that Mexican keeper would be a very good bet.
  20. If he gets us playing like the Dutch national team we should be continuing our upward curve as they can not only pass and move BUT also Score Goals. Hope he brings some of the Feyenoord players along with him for centre back and strikers.
  21. Hope he speaks English, Dutch is impossible to understand.
  22. I think we get the picture old chap so no need to bang on and on. Time to change the record. Dutch football is pretty good to watch in my book and Holland always do better than us in European & World Cups
  23. I'm glad you cleared that up. I've been wondering all day why the hell Ralf would want to ring Nick. I would have liked Holmes here after the good job he did at Salisbury a few years ago.
