This is a MUST SEE and MUST LISTEN! Are we being too helpful to other clubs? It seems Les has not kept many secrets about our modus operandii so what's to stop them encroaching on our territory for example? Not that that is a criticism - maybe he thinks with 5 or 6 years of a Philosophy behind us the others would have to be pretty determined to catch up anyway. Grabbing our coaches and Les himself is probably how they would try to short circuit the process so we need to hold on to these key people at all costs, our success will be more assured by paying these organisational people what they are worth and worrying less about player comings and goings. I sincerely believe in the methods that Les outlined and if he is only 90% right, what's to stop us just getting better and better?

No good will come of it. We know he's good enough but do we really care about him being called up for England who at best play cr.ap and at worst utter *****. Why would we want any of our players to come under the influence of Hodgson and his cronies even for a couple of weeks? All of Ron's good work undone in a thrice. Nat Clyne is part of something very much better than playing for England, the last thing we want right now is him being sucked into a system that has ruined every player that ever turned out for the national side. We certainly don't want him talking to the likes of Lallana with his narrow and bigoted view of loyalty.

When we climbed to the top of the Championship within weeks of all the 'pundits' on here saying we would go straight back down few thought it would last because they had under-estimated Saints and over-estimated the quality of the opposition teams especially those that had just missed promotion to the PL. Many said the quality gap was too big and our League 1 team would not be able to hack it once we were up against the 'big teams' of the Championship and when the heavy pitches and bad weather arrived.... Does any of this sound familiar? Just keep believing folks.

Totally agree with you. The so-called expert pundits contribute next to sod-all to one's understanding of what goes on in games. Like you I wish they'd stick with Linnekar just introducing the reports. The game commentators add all the detail needed. e usually make some tea whilst the pundits are on but there's a limit to how much tea you can drink at that time of day.

That's just not true, the ref was a Football League ref not one of the PL boys so doubtful he ever refs the big clubs. Remember too the official rule is "A minimum of 4 minutes"

Wenger needs to win Cups as he has no chance of winning the league and the usual cop-out of a top 4 finish won't satisfy the fans or management for much longer so whatever his starting XI you must expect Wenger to turn the screw second half if we get off to a good start and they go 1-0 down. No way he will let this one slide out of his grasp so if we want to win it we will need to outplay them for 90 minutes. Can't see that happening myself especially up there. Wenger won't want a draw for obvious reasons so sadly 3-2 or 2-1 to them looks about how it will end up.

Samuels job is to help sell newspapers and with Saints currently sitting second of course we are newsworthy; as Keown said on Saturday MotD "the story goes on" meaning the last five years of seemingly endless progress from the depths of League 1 to now almost the top of the PL despite the many managerial and personnel changes that people decried at the time but none of which in fact have arrested that continuous progress. So there is a story to tell and for football fans the country over our situation continues to be one of the hotter topics of football gossip, not to mention the fact that we have done it all against the odds by playing real good attacking football. Finding a new angle by introducing a dose of negativity rather than drooling over the current success has stirred the **** for sure as he knew it would and now we are all talking about it. His job done, everyone of social media will be talking about Samuels.
