  1. Apart from the daft idea of dropping Forster, I'll go with that. Boufal fluffed his lines on Sunday but that doesn't mean he shouldn't get another chance (although knowing our manager he'll [probbaly play Redmond!). Tadic needs a rest, he looks dispirited and all the poor-me antics didn't help his cause one little bit. I cannot see Dyche being stupid enough or greedy enough to leave Burnley for Everton, he knows he won't get time to build a solid team. As for "taking Burnley as far as he can", 7th in the PL doesn't suggest to me that the partnership of him and Burnley has gone stale or run out of steam yet, far from it.
  2. Yes. Also, the new owner told him in August that there would be no new money for players. Unless things have changed that probably is still the situation and we certainly haven't sold anybody of any significance. A few loans or out of contract players may be but wishful hopes of a multi-million pound raid on Europe's best should not be entertained, it won't happen.
  3. On a positive not, Hoedt acquitted himself very well and deserves a run in the side. I thought we looked more solid and less panic stricken at the back under pressure. Tough on Maya but sometimes you have to be cruel in life so at least Pellegrino grasped this particular nettle. Not sure why van Dyke left Cedric to mark Murray fromm that cross, he was standing next to both and could and should have taken responsibility for the cross instead of leaving it to a guy who had no hope of out-reaching their striker in a heading duel. Forster was just plain ball watching obviously expecting the ball to be headed clear. No what-if's in his mind, is he very bright?
  4. Very impressive well thought through post.
  5. Agree. Like Boufal, if he never gets a game how the F can he improve? Wouldn't surprise me if both want out soon.
  6. I guess you meant... step backwards Ward Prowse with one of those game stopping pass backs to Yoshida from their 18 yard box?
  7. What's the appeal in being stupid and thick?
  8. It doesn't matter really as both they and B & B will be back in the Championship next May where they belong.
  9. Maybe Hoedt could play DMF alongside Romeu? Worth a call.
  10. It's certainly a winnable game with not much travel involved. Boufal of course + 9 others.
  11. Long was picked on the right wing but drifted into the box almost immediately and stayed there which effectively took Cedric out of the game as well and Pellegrino just stood and watched everything funnelled to the left side and Bertrand / Tadic time after time after time. So easy to predict and defend against that it was laughable. Long is not a box player, we need him running to the bye line or don't bother playing him. As for Sofiane Boufal, who doesn't like him behind the scenes? Redmond on before him???????????? You couldn't make it up. FO Pellegrino!
  12. When will that effing idiot of a manger of ours realise we have a genius in Sofiane Boufal but sadly a genius we are bound to lose simply because he is getting more ****ed off very week. When the team was announced today without Boufal after everything he did against Newcastle there were some seriously angry fans calling Pellegrino every name you can imagine. No doubt he won't be picked at all now after he stuck a big one up Pellegrino's nostrils during his celebratory run. Still those who saw that goal will have a lifetime memory.
  13. We need three teams to do worse than us and I'll settle for WHU, B & B and CP, so all strength to their dismal run!

  15. Cheer up! The wedding will be a darned sight more interesting than anything that takes place up at St Mary's tomorrow afternoon. Two teams with no ambition, two mangers with no vision... perfect recipe. See, you've cheered up a bit already and don't forget you'll get bugger all for free at SMS least of all a couple of stiff drinks. Always look on the bright side!
  16. The weather may be the winner tomorrow not only destructive winds are forecast but lots of rain as well. The BBC do love these dramas and one must take their worst predictions with a large pinch of salt but that's been their way since 1987. No way they'll risk being caught with their trousers down again. Having said that this one looks particularly nasty so if they do decide to abandon the match let's hope they have the guts to do it early enough to save many of us long journeys for nothing.
  17. I'll have a go... Forster Cedric Yoshida Hoedt Bertrand Lemina Romeu Tadic Boufal McQueen Gabbiadini
  18. Pellegrino was told in August by Mr Gao that there would be no new funds for buying players so why are people expecting the situation to have changed since then. Let's face it there has been only one siting of the new owner in St Mary's since the takeover so he can't be that bothered about the teams fortunes other than to protect his safe haven money investment.
  19. What strengths would those be then? Cracking poor jokes?
  20. That horse bolted long ago, there is no other way to success now in any sport. Money is King - or Queen for the PC's. In football it's been like that for ever for Real Madrid and Barcelona and you don't hear too many complaints about pyrrhic victories in Spain.
  21. As a Saints supporter why are you so pleased about this that you want to give it even more air on here boy starting thread. Weird and Pathetic!
  22. Really great that our first team can beat their reserves, progress at last! On a more serious note Hojberg looks fantastic in the AMF role so get him in on Saturday instead of relying on Davis again.
  23. Um! If you were there as you say, the only inference from your comments is that you are an apologist for the Lying Dutchman. It was quite clear to most observers that he was only going through the motions with little effort to do more than the bare minimum. He was coasting throughout maybe because he is nowhere near fit or more likely just jogging through to the time he gets parole. If this remains his attitude than get him as far away from the team as possible and settle in Hoedt who was brought in to replace him presumably. I want players out there who will put everything they've got on the line for their team like Oriol Romeu and Cedric Soares.
  24. Oh! and why wait until Christmas to sack Pellegrino?
  25. An Attacking Midfielder We need and Attacking Midfielder! We don't need Redmond, now that Ward-Prowse has been sacked Redmond has become chief passer back and play-stopper! Not surprised Bertie is ****ed off with that berk in front of him. Big Shout-out for Boufal and Gabbi - play them every week for goodness sake Pellegrini, we've been telling you long enough. Austin - Not a Clue! van Dyke - Is he sulking or useless, can't make up my mind. Anyway get Hoedt in and chuck him out for good,
