Here's a clue. Receivership, all debts written off.... Can it be deliberate you ask. You need to ask?

Atta boy! Keep the faith...

Do you think Kat gives a monkeys about ruining her father's legacy
Charlie Wayman replied to lumuah's topic in The Saints
Which in a nutshell is exactly what is wrong with this country, no interest in being an entrepreneur and trying and turn £200M into £2000M or £2bn. Personal greed is all that matters and F everyone else! -
Why do you think he has not been sacked yet?
Charlie Wayman replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
Purely down to money. This tight-rrsd regime is in it for the money only. Surely none of you are naive enough to still believe that Club decisions are based on football matters. -

I think she meant the Receiver. -
Back off Dusan Tadic, he's the only one out there with the passion and will to keep fighting on to the end. He can't do the whole effing job on his own. The boo boys will get a big surprise if he is dropped from the starting line up as we will be worse than dire then with no creative players at all to step up and try to get something going. Of course he has poor games as well as good ones but who doesn't.

Probably has a lot to do with it. The top 6 will always be the top 6 from her on and the other 14 clubs know they might as well write off the 12 matches involving those 'big' clubs. The other 14 clubs know also that they have no chance of breaking into the top 6 looking forward so in normal circumstances that rules out European competition for them. So what is there to play for for those 'other' 14? Just being best of the rest? I don't think so! Judging by the spreading malaise of apathy around here now it seems this penny has dropped for many fans and only a diminishing number of diehards cling to the vain hope that somehow the clock can be turned back to how it used to be. As far as Saints are concerned it hasn't helped that Kreuger is on record as having conceded that we are indeed now a small club with no ambition to challenge at the top, that we are just one of the 14 making up the numbers in the travelling circus the premier league has become.

That would keep us up on 37pts. With our cast iron defence it should be doable.

There we go then, another clueless performance which more or less confirms our relegation. Glad the weather stopped me going. The inevitability of all this is laughable.

Yes. There was still snow lying around in May that year. Many will remember the bitterly cold day at Villa Park when we narrowly lost to Man U in the FA Cup Semi Final then played on a neutral ground not Wembley. No covers over their stands then and I still remember being frozen to the Bs and being so disappointed at the outcom. Much younger of course which makes you more hardy but so many matches were postponed because of the snow.

Compared to Tennis or Cricket, Football is a bloody difficult sport to manage from a VAR standpoint. Technically the ref can seek help anywhere on the pitch so every action anywhere on the pitch has to be covered by multiple cameras from many angles. If one thinks seriously about that and the technical challenges it presents you wouldn't get brain-dead loudmouths such as Shearer dissing the whole thing after one dodgy incident. I hate bloody Shearer, HTF did he ever get a job in media spouting his special brand of meaningless crap? Let's hope VAR is here to stay, it might not be up to scratch just yet but they'll get there one day and don't forget the hidden benefit of players knowing that if they cheat they could be found out, in that sense VAR can act as deterrent and help clean up the game just like speed cameras succeed in slowing people down

We won't get 37 pts, my own advanced algorithm has predicted 36 and we need 36.6 to stay up. 3 of those must come tomorrow. Th issue about the game tomorrow will be public safety not the state of the pitch. The police may decide that it may be best not to encourage 15000 cars onto local roads especially as the Army had to rescue hundreds of people from the A31 at the top of the New Forest last night. There is also the small matter of slips and falls and the extra potential burden of emergency services having to come in and resuscitate old folk with broken limbs. Of course they could also play behind locked doors and seeing as it's Stoke visiting that might not be such a bad idea.

;-) Forecast to be cold and WET on Saturday, even worse! Not so young these days.
-
Don't know about you guys but as things stand with the weather today, I won't be going anywhere near St Mary's on Saturday. It's bloody freezing out here in the forest, - bloody 10C last night and not much better today. If this goes on anybody sitting out in the stadium for two hours will run a very serious risk of hyperthermia.
-
Stuff Crouch, we need to focus on our own game and make sure we dominate midfield and score enough goals to make their long ball game irrelevant. It's Shaqiri we need to watch most.
-
Who? Now we will be awaiting Ghoddos!
-
You mean he is an unemployed ex-footballer. No doubt he earned a few bob along the way so should invest some of it in a football related enterprise rather than try to be a coach unless that's what turns him on. Very creaky headline, he's much too young to have moved on to a higher plane.
-
Based on what exactly? Pink specs methinks.
-
Are you sure, I don't remember the 60's being all that bad at all and I saw nothing up at Wembley on the day that was particularly unpleasant.
-
Bring back the old days, eh?
-
No he hasn't, what do you expect of a Champions League player consigned to playing to the instructions of an idiot in an unfathomable system. The sooner the pathetic Pellegrino badgers off the sooner Oriol will be back on top form. Stop knocking, you can't come in!
-
1-1, it's always 1-1 it's what we do under this Clueless Clown

Think of the windfall of £700 you'll have in your pocket when you don't buy your ST and the misery of the bastards running the club when they see another black hole in their greedy finances.

How good do you think Saints squad is?
Charlie Wayman replied to Bit of a plonker's topic in The Saints
Overall we have a very limited squad with few players who are clearly above average for the PL (Romeu) and perhaps one or maybe with more potential to become top four candidates (Lemina, Bertrand). The rest you might as well bin.
