  1. I still believe this has Nigel Adkins' finger prints all over it and it is likely to happen. Suppose he's better than Redmond for example? Shouldn't think anybody feels secure under Ralph's eye.
  2. Certainly beats the ten years before he arrived for excitement but the politics and incompetence at board level have remained pretty much the same
  3. Yep, we will need to rely on Villa & The Blades to go straight back down and I think they will.
  4. Delighted to see Dan N'Lundulu on the plane, he is a real prospect and a mighty handful in the box for any CB. Boufal misses out presumably because of AFCON and his delayed holidays. Likely he isn't scheduled to be back until later in July. Also pleased that Cedric Soares is being given another chance.
  5. What are you talking about, the lad has endured a nigh on season long stomach injury that has limited his ability to play. You know nothing about his attitude during training so why make such a tasteless remark.
  6. As I said it's the quality of refereeing you should be questioning.
  7. If we sell Lemina we will need a replacement and anyone better will cost us far more than the figure being bandied around for Mario.
  8. Don't be a pedant, you know exactly what I mean.
  9. It's the quality of refereeing you should be questioning not VAR
  10. Shame, wonder what happened to upset him? Rumours of a separation from his partner will certainly have unsettled him. Hope it all blows over and he can get fit and stay fit and lost importantly stay here. We all love him don't we?
  11. Is that possible? Whereas Ralph has never seen Boufal in action and probably hasn't even met him, Cedric and Ralph have some history and one senses Ralph had more or less told him that he (Cedric) had no part to play in his (Ralph's) plans. That seems to me to rule out any chance of a reconciliation or re-integration in a Hasenhuttl team. For all that and all the vile abuse that Cedric gets on here, he is a very decent player with a recent European Championship winning medal in his pocket. They don't grow on trees. Bearing in mind the very strong Portuguese connection in everything that is the new Wolves, chances are they will be bidders for his services.
  12. £3m pa for a couple more years will set him up nicely for the rest of his life. 5 years of it too which is a cool £15m. Consider how many millions maximum most of us earn in a lifetime... £1.5m? Average income £25k x 45 year (both max'd) = gets the point? I doubt he needs much sympathy for his mental frailties
  13. Ouch! Sorry Mr Blackmore, just a wise crack that went wrong. Mia Culpa
  14. Hear bloody hear!
  15. So Birmingham have become our feeder club now.
  16. Can we not sell Adam Blackmore, surely we could get a decent fee for him? Maybe Villa are looking for a first class t*sser as well?
  17. Those who thought that Ryan lacked commitment and doesn't put in the effort should study today's training pics. Here is a guy with a point to prove who is obviously thriving and reviving under Ralph's leadership. Getting rid of Targett has no doubt made him realise that the Club is fully committed to him as well. I wish him well for the season and will be delighted if he regains an England place.
  18. I've seen the U23's often and he is not a stand-out lad for sure. Tend to agree with Baird of the land, surplus to requirements here probably. Good to make these decisions early rather than hanging on and on and as a result likely ruining a young lad's career. Nothing worse than stop-start of/off etc.
  19. Indeed-ie he shot JR, do we really know, will we ever know do we GAF?
  20. Bloody good job they didn't ask you to negotiate a deal then! ;-)
  21. Tosh! Ricky made the step-up easily and bingo into the England team. This lad can do the same. What will you say if he nets 20 this season?
  22. At last somebody upstairs with balls playing hardball to get sensible money for this lad. Good luck to him at his new club.
  23. Well he's headlining again on the OS so looks like we're being brainwashed into accepting him back! Actually I'd pay for his airfare to get him back asap, gut feeling this is going to work out well. Howls of derision expected so bring 'em on.
  24. I hope this works our for him. He deserves a chance at the big time but not here. Too much history and baggage for the fans to accept him as first choice. Also means a better chance that Burlington Bertie will stay creating a chance for Vokins or even Ramsey to work as his under-study and a few first team outings.
  25. Yes but as said before we should stop being so bloody humble about selling our players. £10m is bugler all in today's market and if he scores 8 or 10 goals for them he'd be a bargain. He's not useless as many exclaim on here just that he doesn't fit Ralph's plan; don't forget Ralph is not pushing him out the door, because of his positive influence in the dressing room
