The OS says no change to a winning side. We had a choice? They are probably the only fit first team players we have.
-
and plenty don't! As one of your illustrious MP's in Parliament said this evening "We've been shafted once again by the ruling party"
-
Not me Chris, BBC. Yes, I know they love a crises and go to great length to scare the tits off people but I live miles away from town far out in a remote part of the Forest and salting lorries don't have these places on their sat-navs. When it snows we can be locked in for days.
-
Very Hoddle-esque. Obviously a big fan.
-
The trick will be to keep him starved of the ball, if Hoj & Oriol are on song he may not fancy one-on-one with those guys one little bit. I'm not saying we should intimidate him out of the game... ...yes I am! On another less hopeful note, the local weather forecast for Wednesday evening is pretty horrendous, heavy snow from 5 pm with temps at 2 or 3C. Going to make life very difficult for fans trying to get to town and pretty dodgy walking to the stadium as well. I suspect the police might intervene and get the club to call it off.

Don't worry chaps we've got Valery to snuff out the Zaha threat
-
A bit fishy would you not say?
-
That's not true, they've all been our first choices at various times. If they are not now or have not been recently that's only because Hassenhuttl may have been following the club's agenda to marginalise these players, **** them off so that they wanted out in order to justify selling them. You can bet your life these guys are still very good footballers and will flourish again under more imaginative and sympathetic management.
-
I think so, sounds very much like a cash call from the owner
-
So what happened to the old mantra that PL clubs need two top class players in every position to allow for injuries and rotation? Are Guardiola and Klopp wrong or the newcomer Hassenhuttl? Sounds to me like he is listening to our owners too much, small equals beautiful equals cheap equals profitable sales!!!!!!!

This is effing madness, we're being mugged again by the corporate greedies. It's so predictable but FA we can do about it.
-
Not expecting Bertie or Lemina back anytime soon having listened intently to what RH was saying at the fans forum t'other evening. Not just about injury recovery and physical fitness anymore these guys have to do at least 30 sprints at full power to satisfy the rules of the new regime. Leave a dirty boot on the floor after training and you're dead meat! Can't see poor old Bertie doing 30 anytime.
-
Agree but according to RK we have over 400 people in the building now and they all have to be paid and lots of them are fiercely ambitious and looking all the time for wage increases. Why on earth we need 400 people to run a modest sized football club is beyond me. Sounds like the classic empire building that goes on in all organisations that do not have sufficient external over-sight into what is going on. Very Civil Service like, free money (i.e. Taxpayers or Sky/BT) always seems to bring with it corporate irresponsibility until reigned in by external factors. Bet we could be run well enough with half that number. Wonder what our Corporate Governance performance is like, assuming we have a CG Policy in the first place. There is some evidence of money being needlessly squandered by this e costly and ridiculous pre-match high shows that serve no purpose whatsoever after the first time other than damage the environment and keep a few front row folk warm on a nippy day!

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25
Charlie Wayman replied to Over land and sea's topic in The Saints
Thought with Lemina injured and Hojberg suspended he might have got the call. Listening to what Ralph H had to say the other evening about preparing every individual player for his style of play we may have to assume that he is not quite there yet in terms of athleticism and obedience to the plan. -

Tom O'Connor is a real prospect in midfield and will push one or two of our current first teamers aside given the chance. -
Oh Really? Didn't see that coming..... sigh! Still Mr Gao, bit more of the old debt paid off eh? Always a silver lining for some, lucky or what?

Brilliant

Clutching at straws here.

Words escape me at least polite ones do. Peculiar ideas as always from you, a lone voice in the wilderness.
-
People quite clearly are talking about his return in the summer at the end of the season. With our limited budget resources for new players, letting Ralph see him in action for a few weeks is eminently sensible. You never know it might actually turn out that we have a star on our hands.
-
Hear, Hear! That's at least two of us. The vile abuse of Cedric is a step too far and a new low for so-called Saints fans.
-
Is there any player that you do like? Why are you a Saints fan at all, always so bloody negative and cynical?
-
It's only Day 17 what's the panic?
