...and that Henderson tackle on Bertie towards the end was vicious and should have been a straight Red card. Did anybody mention that? Did they rollicks.

Exactly that, you took the words right out of my mouth. The whole clucking set up is rigged and corrupt, Sod the BBC!

Exactly this, the stupidity of leaving one at the back to deal with their front three when we were pressing really high after HT at 1-1 was the turning point and inexcusable, smacking of indiscipline from over confidence. Ralph was fuming and rightly so. What is there to Liverpool except unimaginative square passing in defence with eventual long hopeful balls into the box either from our nemesis or from the left wing? Man City are much the better and more attractive footballing side and for that alone deserve the title despite fears of hegemony. Last night for the first half hour we were by far the better footballing side and it was a sickeningly disappointing result at the end

Too sarcy mate we were pleased to win that same trophy ourselves not that long ago

If you are not attending, you can sell them through the club; anybody who wants them can phone in at more or less the same time as you send your instruction to sell.

36 points will be enough, one more win. Time to relax, puff on a cigar, sip a scotch and close the book on a very forgettable season.

I have a hunch that Boufal & Hassenhuts will be a match made in heaven and he'll be our player of the season next year.

Hope your source is neither Robert Peston nor Laura Keunsberg

Finally, the long-overdue 2018/19 kit thread...

How about a Navy Blue coloured shirt for next season? Red socks? -
They'll start fast out of the blocks with high pressing and intensity, the opening 10 minutes could be a nightmare. I hope we are prepared for this. If we play like we did yesterday after our goal we're going to get tanked.

Brighton 0 Saints 1 - Post Match Celebrations

3 points is all that matters -
Whilst it is good to see Mario Lemina back in training and seemingly enjoying football life again, he will be nowhere near match fit for quite a while. What a player to have on the bench 'though so expect him to come on at Brighton for the last 15 minutes when Romeu and/or Hoj pick up their inevitable yellow cards or blowing like whales.

He looked very nervous and unsure of his role last night. Every time he received the ball he off-loaded it as quickly as possible usually backwards safely to a team mate 5 yards away. He's got to be a lot more confident on the ball than he was last night and more assertive in making things happen if he wants to get into this team again. Let's face it he's 24 and the new kids are 18, time is not on his side. Certainly cannot challenge Henderson or Barclay on this showing.

Never understood the doubters. Cracking player.

Burnley's fall from grace has been mind boggling yet their manager still seems immune to criticism.

You have to feel sorry for these guys especially Bednarek, the taxman gets over half of these amounts. I couldn't get by on £600k that's for sure...

A 3-0 win won't take us above them but at least the GD gap will be gone

The main problem is that the price of watching Sky or BT has become nigh on unaffordable for many. Also these providers are so narrow in their match choice offerings usually involving the big clubs. Obviously every single match these days is filmed so why can't Sky or PL offer Saints fans for example an affordable package for the season of all 38 Saints matches - similar for other club's fans? I for one would sign up for that even if only to see live the away game coverage. Most would pay £5/10 a match for that surely. That would go a long way towards stopping piracy altogether.

Just at random? What's the connection?

Big decision to be made by the club in June, should he stay, should we say no?
-
Yoshida won't go, he's one of those guys with passion and real leadership qualities and will join the junior team coaching staff at the end of his playing days and why not. Great inspiration for the kids with a superb work ethic. These guys don't grow on trees and let's face it how does he not compare well with erm! Kelvin Davis?

Must be worth £35m now and somebody might bite eh Kat?

Expect the Premier League to be reduced to 16 teams in the near future, partly to reduce so-called fixture congestion but also as the quality of the top 4, 6 or 8 as it might become soon continues to improve to world class through the unfair distribution of money in the game. How long before PL audiences tire of having to watch a half dozen or so championship sides endlessly recycling between the bottom of the PL and the top of the Championship playing a style of unattractive physical defensive football that is the antithesis of the Sky-perfect vision of the fast flowing beautiful game.

All this does is remind us all how old we're getting!
