  1. I imagine Sunak will join the SFC board after the election, that will ensure five more years of chaos at SMS. This will be a rugged match and not that attractive to watch, too much at stake and too few of our players will be able to rise to the occasion. These are not circumstances that suit our style at all and if we go one down early on the chances are we will not be able to respond. Sadly, I think we will lose out by the odd goal. 1-0 to Leeds.
  2. There will be plenty on offer from touts outside the stadium, always are. Several problems to consider; "are they genuine", "price" and (unless you have a map of the seating area wth you to check) "where is the seat" being offered. I advise anybody who is that desperate to get inside to be very cautious indeed before parting with their money. Stay home, mow the lawn, grab a beer and watch the box. The result will be the same, you'll be £500 better off on Monday and glad you weren't there to see the humiliation of defeat if we lose..
  3. How does that work then except in your dreams 😂
  4. It's logic Jim but not as we know it!
  5. Why not, we scored three against the Baggies without them.
  6. I'll be with you in the trenches for sure.
  7. Perraud is a much better wing back than Manning and is the type of player we will need (and can afford) should we make it to the PL. Manning will be out of his depth up there. Otherwise I agree only Alcaraz looks like he has the right qualities eventually to succeed at the higher level. Mind you it is all a bit academic because we wiill not be promoted and will be thankful for it. Imagine the humiliation of being pummelled every week and falling back into the Championship in our first year. All the loanees will be gone, our two or three decent players will jump ship and Martin will be left to sort out the scraps that remain if he is not fired or decides to leave for pastures new.
  8. Wrong. Go back and read about my experience. I have been a ST holder for more years than Rishie Sunak and most on here can remember yet ended up ticketless. Admittedly I was choosey about where I wanted to sit and not prepared to accept gratefully any old scraps from their table. I don't NEED to be there wheras many it seems are treating it like a matter of life or death.
  9. Don't worry, relax! This is not a Cup Final Nick, only just another game in the EFL Championship to decide third place! It'll be on the box anyway. It amazes me that at most home games we can barely fill SM stadium yet when the magic word "Wembley" appears every Tom, Dick & Harry feels that they are entitled to a ticket. It is why genuine lifelong fans like you get squeezed out through no fault of your own.
  10. Don't forget to take your telescope They couldn't give a sh*t about fans, never have never will. As long as they sell seats they don't give a flying F who sits in them. Surely you didn't get conned by all that bullsh*t from Parsons?
  11. I hope you are right but I've just been on and the only sections showing availability this evening are the cheapo seats right up in the gods. I'm mystified by the numbers as well as you but who knows what fiddles people get up to to grab hold of tickets. This process is about as transparent as a duck's arse. Forget having much of a choice where you sit, I'm reading on here that even during the check-out process people are being bumped out of the seats they thought they were booking and allocated something else. If you're desperate to be there and happy to accept any old crap seats they allocate then fine you might make it but as a premium SMS ST holder why should I settle for anything less than the view from my seat at St Mary's? So to encourage another of your hopes this ST holder won't be going so that's one possibly for you. Good Luck!
  12. I wish you the best of luck with that but unless they have held back some blocks for release tomorrow there really won't be much left to choose from. Looks pretty b leak at the moment of writing.
  13. What a bloody nightmare this on-line process is proving to be. Six times this morning since 09.30, six bloody times the seat map has failed to load and I've been timed out and sent back to the start. Their process is crap, simple as that. All the best seats have gone now apparently and only rubbish is left. Well Eff them as far as I'm concerned they can stuff their bloody tickets where the sun don't shine.
  14. Will the club be running coaches to Wembley form the Southampton area? Any Park & Ride schemes? How do we find out about them?
  15. Correct and the selfish, mindless idiots spoilt the ending for the rest of us. You could see the players were really angry about the pitch invasion and unsurprisingly they did not return for a lap of honour.
  16. We didn't last week 😂
  17. Nonsense. The "frame rate" of the human eye is only around 10 fps, so VAR's 50 fps is way better than human eye capability.
  18. The people who do this shame us and themselves.
  19. There's a new technology being trialed for offside next season.
  20. Don't they have a huge amount more money than us as well?
  21. As of right now, my ticket has not arrived. Maybe they posted them yesterday?
  22. Nothing wrong with boring them to death. Once they switch off for a nap we get at 'em. Stephens must not play, Manning must not play, Smallbone must not play, Mara must not play, Brooks must not play….. there, sorted. Anybody left?
  23. What an appalling performance, hang your heads in shame Smallbone, Stephens and Mara. What on earth is wrong with these people that they can't raise their game when it really matters. A goalless draw is not a good enough reason to excuse them for simply shockingly lazy performances. Let's face it the subs weren't much better either, Fraser huffed and puffed a bit but Brooks again did his impression of the Invisible man. More of this on Friday and we can kiss goodbye to any hopes of promotion.
