I've seen the U23's often and he is not a stand-out lad for sure. Tend to agree with Baird of the land, surplus to requirements here probably. Good to make these decisions early rather than hanging on and on and as a result likely ruining a young lad's career. Nothing worse than stop-start of/off etc.

Indeed-ie he shot JR, do we really know, will we ever know do we GAF?

Bloody good job they didn't ask you to negotiate a deal then! ;-) -
Tosh! Ricky made the step-up easily and bingo into the England team. This lad can do the same. What will you say if he nets 20 this season?

At last somebody upstairs with balls playing hardball to get sensible money for this lad. Good luck to him at his new club. -
Well he's headlining again on the OS so looks like we're being brainwashed into accepting him back! Actually I'd pay for his airfare to get him back asap, gut feeling this is going to work out well. Howls of derision expected so bring 'em on.

I hope this works our for him. He deserves a chance at the big time but not here. Too much history and baggage for the fans to accept him as first choice. Also means a better chance that Burlington Bertie will stay creating a chance for Vokins or even Ramsey to work as his under-study and a few first team outings. -

Yes but as said before we should stop being so bloody humble about selling our players. £10m is bugler all in today's market and if he scores 8 or 10 goals for them he'd be a bargain. He's not useless as many exclaim on here just that he doesn't fit Ralph's plan; don't forget Ralph is not pushing him out the door, because of his positive influence in the dressing room -
Four more days Ralph.
-
That's a tad demeaning, he is also capable of telling the 4th official who the subs will be.
-
If we have to sell at ANY price ANY of our players that attract an offer to keep our heads above water then we really are up sh*te creek. Boufal is neither the problem nor the solution. Why do we need to be so bloody humble about these things all the bloody time alway paying over the odds for crap and always accepting under the odds for any of our lads that can kick a football. We need to get a bit of backbone into this club and fast! Assets are assets not liabilities!

Gibson is a spent force, his star has risen and is now rapidly setting. Burnley would not let I'm go otherwise. Nothing to see here Wee Ross!
-
He whispers most of the time.
-
You are right, it will but they'll soon tire of it when pundits finally realise that their own views on an incident no longer matter which can only be good news
-
Interesting that the OS has drawn attention to Sofiane Boufal's involvement in the Afcon along with our new man, referred to as Saints' Sofiane Boufal. Maybe Ralph has been watching him?
-
It was a joke you idiot!
-
No! Very clearly Bertrand has been reinvigorated by Ralph.
-
In all honesty, Jordie is the last of our worries.

I remember how useless Ricky Lambert ws when he reached the Premier League
-
So we can't sell any of the out of favour expensive players out on loan so we have to resort to selling the only world class player we have to raise money to buy untested young players to follow The Plan? You couldn't make it up so let's hope that is all the Wail did. I can't see how Bertie could run his extensive non-football business activities from Italy so doubt (or hope) he would not be interested but the very fact that this is in the gossip columns at all suggests the club are up to something. Anybody who thinks thicko Targett would be an adequate permanent replacement needs to cut back on whatever it is they are sniffing.

Maybe Nigel Adkins put in a good word for us or indeed brought Bowen to our attention? He is a very good friend of this club

Tory voters on a SFC fans website? -
Business as usual then.

Actually no, there are 13 days until Ralph starts training when he has openly said he needs 4 or 5 new young players in by then.
